I check on the web said that is American cuisine, when I try, I don't know what cuisine is it. Some dishes seem French, some look like Italian, some Spain....may be they can put the dim sum, sushi inside. I can't try really American cuisine, return the money back!!! 繼續閱讀

I visit this restaurant to see whether the reputation is true or not as many told me that's very nice. I had Quail for First course and that's nice. However.... It often happens to some normal standard restaurant that Only the first course is nice... I lost my expectation at the secound course (Pasta), because any nice dishes didn't last ever. The pasta was terrible for me. Not enough salt for boiling pasta, and was really far from aldente which is the best condition for pasta. It was obvously over cooked Chinese Nooldle.The duck leg for Main course, I again could not believe I was in so called nice restaurant. The only thing made us confortable was the service by hall staffs (except for kitchen). Maybe I should not compare with other nice restaurant with the kitchens. I ate 4 course dinner ($428) and the course was not just one of those things.But it might be nice restaurant if you go there without any expectations.Lastly, the decoration seems to be no-concept. 繼續閱讀

上星期六寫個食評唔見,no problem再寫過!12月9日來lunch,好似去私人會所咁。雖則在地下,但要按掣才會開木門。外面沒有玻璃,只有石屎牆,裡面就別有洞天,白色decoration為主,簡潔配些綠色椅+鮮花+假攀藤,kitchen counter top上放了些甜椒作點綴,所以有d現代田園feel。當日只有我這檯客,包場咁,good!聽講("煽"稿話)是加拿大菜1)radicchio and 2 cheese salad:即洋式椰菜,紫椰菜配parmesan cheese+1種好溫和兼軟身的芝士(有d似blue cheese種因見到d淡灰藍色的發酵物體)。當然好清淡,ok,尤其這個似blue cheese的物體2)turkey & green broth soup:好thin和清。見到好少肉,浮在湯面。主要是菜葉,青豆(非1包包的frozen貨色)-是從新鮮peas取出。湯底ok,味道適中3)tagliatelle e pomodoro:寬條麵in新鮮番茄sauce+ham。麵是有咬口(聞說是homemade),番茄sauce有自然酸味,my favorite4)fish:當日是grill紅snapper,魚質鮮美,好juicy,又多肉,又無腥味,做得好好5)chocolate cake:厚朱古力面,實在cake身混碎nuts(非sponge cake),中層有d類似passion fruit jam,唔甜,都濃朱古力味整體主菜做得出色d。坦白講有d失望,expect甜品會有驚喜。食完出見到李思捷+胡定欣好像在拍高朋滿坐 繼續閱讀

如果不是14k兄推介,也不會察覺到卑利街頂有這一間隱蔽的店子。上星期某日,約了舊拍檔有點事要傾,不方便給現在的同事碰到,就選了這裡。一來地點不易找,碰到同事的機會微,二來亦可乘機試試這裡掂唔掂。訂左位,同日客人亦不算多,幾清靜。呢度入門要按鐘,幾有私竇感覺。地方異常骨子,裝修以米白色的傢私為主,整潔非常,適合極注重環境氣氛的朋友來幫襯,而我們來傾密計,當然一流。午餐三道菜連飲品,頭盤湯或沙律,主菜五選一,亦有兩款三文治及漢堡包可以選擇,甜品又是三選一。頭盤都要了沙律,用一個大碟盛著蔬菜沙律、香草煎雞菇及烤粟米餅,擺放得幾有心思。當然咁有睇頭的食物,要花相當的時間去品嚐。其中以烤香草煎雞菇最好味,粟米餅就普通了一點;主菜方面,舊拍檔選了「Fish of the Day」,是日的選擇是煎爐魚及鱈魚,她要了前者。我見佢有個Hamburg Tribute,連個名店也押了上去咁緊要,就試這個。兩個主菜賣相不錯,擺放用了心思。我的漢堡是烤麵包夾牛肉漢堡,烤包塗了牛油再烤,漢堡牛肉厚厚的,有肉汁又夠濃味,不是一般貨色。夾著沙律菜,吃著亦有水準,以店名為名也不失禮。配以炸薯片及青蘋果沙律,與濃烈味道的牛肉漢堡幾配合,不錯;舊拍檔也應滿意她的煎爐魚,看她仔細的從頭到尾,小心的吃清便可以看出;甜品選了brownie及檸檬撻,相比之下,檸檬撻較出色一點,味道酸酸甜甜,幾配合夏天的感覺。吃著談著,不知不覺吃到全店只得我們兩人。渴著餐後的香濃咖啡,幾悠閒的。埋單260蚊,靚環境加賣相精美的食物,都算物有所值。當然兩個麻甩佬就無謂來,同女士午餐,想找處清靜的地方吃吃談談,這裡是不錯的選擇。當然吃環境、重感覺的食友,會加倍喜歡這裡。 繼續閱讀
