Boyfriend had to use up some vouchers for food and drinks at this place so we came here. I always assumed this place was more a gimmicky theme restaurant so didn't think to come here. The place was not packed and we quickly got a table. I ordered an apple cinnamon ice tea and boyfriend ordered a cookies and cream frap using the buy one get one free voucher. We shared a cake with a $30 discount voucher and I chose chocolate praline because it had Woodstock on it and who doesn't love Woodstock?The
The apple cinnamon tea was nice. It tasted like apple pie with lots of cinnamon, just how I like it. Boyfriend's cookies and cream frap was a bit bland. The cake was surprising ok. The chocolate was rich and moist and there was a bit of crunch from the praline. Woodstock was a colored piece of chocolate. Not bad.
The place is cute with figures of Charlie Brown and friends. They even had a big tv screen showing cartoons of the Charlie Brown series, bringing back lots of childhood memories. Great quiet place to hang out in TST.
