Went to resturant on Dec 27 expecting a good time. There were five of us...We ordered the chef set menu for $1500hkd each.After 30 mins of waiting for our salad, and only given one cup of tea (between 5 people !!!), we asked the waiter where our food was. After our 2nd prompting, our salad came.The Persimone salad tasted fine, but I highly doubt it took 30 mins to prep...After salad we ordered some Hot Sake, the waiter immediatly recommended the most expensive bottle for us. Naturally we choses

After 30 mins of waiting for our salad, and only given one cup of tea (between 5 people !!!), we asked the waiter where our food was. After our 2nd prompting, our salad came.

After salad we ordered some Hot Sake, the waiter immediatly recommended the most expensive bottle for us. Naturally we choses something less pricy. She gave a tray of cups and just told us to "Choose!" She did not bother pouring the wine into the cups for us though and we had to ask 2x before a waiter filled our cups.Afterwards came the sashimi, the waiter just put down the dish and left. My dad asked another waiter what sashimi we were eating, he just said "that piece is xxx" and left without explaining the rest of the sashimi pieces?!?
From there on, the service contiuned going down hill, eventually we just had to pour our own sake, refill the sake bottle ourselves, and ask to have our sake reheated.Later on we had a Japanese rice and tea dish, since we were sharing the dish we asked for more spoons. The waitress decided to had us tiny dessert spoons instead but neglected to give us bowls...
We also ordered Special California Roll on the side. I don't understand why it costs 2x of a Californa Roll $120 vs $240, maybe it was the extra salmon roe on the top?!? Very bland tasting though.The food was generally ok, I expected it to taste better for the price and have eaten a lot better for similar price. But the service was absolutly horrendous for the price I was paying! I have better service at a 茶餐廳 ！
