i ordered the set lunch (hk$ 41) of wonton noodle soup 雲吞麵 ($25) and blanched green leaf vegetable 芥蘭 ($22). there are 4 medium size wonton that tasted just right. the egg noodle is al dente. the clear soup is moderately tasty and not overwhelming. good old fashioned wonton noodle soup, just like those i had as a kid. the vegetable is tenderly cooked and has a natural flavor.
she ordered the beef tendon noodle soup 牛筋麵 ($25). there are 6 or so large pieces of tender and tasty tendons, in a medium flavor beef soup. very good indeed.
this can be an indispensable place for meal or snack anytime of the day.

maybe as i didn't have much expectations with the services so i didn't see any problem that other diners had stated...
anyhow, i am not a fan of traditional chinese noodles and only went into the store cos of crab porridge!
~$50 (can't remember clearly) is a reasonable price for crab porridge and it didn't disappoint me either.
it is quite tasty (although i am pretty sure MSG is added) with a good quantity. enough to feed a 23 years old lady as dinner. my boyfriend had some beef brisket noodle and it isn't too shabby either.

Also the barley drink was good too, not too sweet, but the glass could be cleaner, as there was tiny spots of oil in it.
