Korean Forest has quickly become a family favorite since moving to Yuen Long during the summer. The friendly service and excellent value for money for generous portions of food are a big draw. Favorites include the beef rib on an iron plate accompanied by some bibimbap and a side of either the seafood pancake or the kimchi dumplings. These last two are a big hit with my daughter who is two and a half. She calls the pancake pizza and loves the shrimps embedded in the tasty potato cake. There's a small choice of hot and cold drinks, the red date tea or the ginseng tea are good accompaniments to food. Last time we ate there I fancied a beer and they were happy to let us bring our own. Hoping to avoid the usual Sunday night crowds we arrived too early on our last visit (they open at 6 for dinner) but they happily switched on the lights and let us in early. The fairly short but ingeniously chosen menu means for one thing, service is quick.
Other Info. : Check out the set menus which are good value!
