We had a coupon from a credit card promotion so decided to check it out. The place was surprisingly nicely decorated, with a lot of thought going into the art pieces and ornaments. The booths were made of comfy sofa and the tables were well spaced apart. The waitress was attentive and friendly, always carrying a smile on her face.

We ordered the soft shell crab rice paper rolls which was a little disappointing as the crab was soggy and the rolls were wrapped so loosely it all fell apart on the first bite. The papaya salad was more interesting, with a very good spiciness level to it. Next the duck in red curry was a thick creamy sauce with slices of roast duck and a good amount of vegetables to accompany it. It went deliciously well with the rice, and helped to soften up the rice which was a little too hard for my liking. The stir fried thai cabbage was artfully piled up and still verdant and hot. The pad thai had a shell made from skillfully fried eggs, which was paper thin and gave the dish a snazzy touch. The noodles were a little on the soft side, but still chewy enough with fresh prawns. We ordered the dessert platter which was alright except the layer cakes were too soft and tasted a little funny, and the other coloured sago pudding had good fruity flavours (strawberry, mango, taro and coconut) but the texture was too gooey. The mango pudding tasted almost like bread and butter pudding in terms of texture and was the better out of the whole selection. The sticky rice pudding was up to standard, nothing spectacular but nothing to fault it either. The longan drink was nice, and had quite a few longans in it too.

The only thing that ruined the evening was a bunch of kids, 8 or 10 of them screaming at the top of their lungs and laughing their heads off, so much so that I couldn't hear myself talk. Annoying kids.
