Today was more of a celebration. It was my cousin's announcement of her marriage with my future cousin in-law. My relatives and I arrived at the cafe at 6:30pm. We were told that we would be served with buffet-styled dinner. The cafe offered many different cuisines from all around the world. I really enjoyed the dinner.I took a walk to check out what was being servedd that night. My first stop was the salad bar. The bar offered many selections of FRESH salad. Today was more of a celebration. It was my cousin's announcement of her marriage with my future cousin in-law. My relatives and I arrived at the cafe at 6:30pm. I took a walk to check out what was being servedd that night. My first stop was the salad bar. The bar offered many selections of FRESH salad. I chose the cesear salad with bacon bits and parmasan cheese. WOW!! It was a good start. cuisine. After that, I was hooked up with all the MEATS and seafood.. I selected prime ribs and lamb racks with Dijon mustard and mint jelly. The meats were cooked to perfection, they were medium rare. Honestly, I played safe. They both are premium type of meats, and so as long as they are not overcooked. It should be delicious and no surprises. With respect to seafood, I loved the baked oxyster with cheese. It was not spectacular, but was still very tasty. The dish was fresh, but the aroma from the cheese was not as strong as expected. The oxyster was the small kind, and of course it couldn't be compared with the ones in oxyster bars.

The best had still yet to come. It was not really from the buffet menu. It was foie gras, and was specifically orderd by my lovely cousin. I should say this was the highlight of the night. The foie gras was pan fried and it was cooked very juicy and slightly raw. The flavor stayed in my mouth for a very long time. This was how foie gras should be cooked. Excellent!! 10/10.

Other nice dishes would be: the sea bass, cooked sausages, the cold cuts, the soba and crepes with ice cream.

Dislikes: I was surprised with the grades and the freshness of the sashimi. It was acceptable, but the quality was not consistant with every rounds served.

The Ambience and the service was awesome. We ordered bottles of champagne, and house wines (red and white). They matched the food very well. Our waiter was nice. I asked for champagne, and it was kind of warm. He asked if I wanted some white wine instead. Exceptional service. The ambience was causal and yet it had elegant sided of it. and I think it would work well with romantic dining or business dining.
