i went there about a year ago, i had an alsome experience, it made me love there so much...1.I so enjoyed seafood by the chefs there, tasted so good2.the salmon was really fresh, my cousin (a loyal customer of it) said its salmon came from Japan, seems day by day(forget, so not sure). anyway, its fresh salmon from Japan! 3.the pasta there was so delicious, especially those in red source!!4.there provided strawberries as fresh fruit. And I really like the design and decoration there.
However, when I returned in special days( Price at $600+), once again and once again, I felt so so so so diappointed! Strawberries mixed with scallop, it made me extremely unable to forget that dish, whenever it came to my mind, I decided to go buffet in the next store hotel instead of Nikko... That dish was quite disgusting, cuz the strawberries were quite sour, it didnt match scallop at all....to minimize the sour taste , it seemed they added jam into it Personally, I really love scallop and strawberries, but I would say that dish is one of the worst dishes in my life so far....
the most important thing is dishes on special days are not special at all, in fact, they are too wierd!
