I came across this restaurant when I was reading a magazine waiting for my mom to finish work. The review given on the magazine was pretty good so we thought we should check it out. I came across this restaurant when I was reading a magazine waiting for my mom to finish work. The review given on the magazine was pretty good so we thought we should check it out.

Service: The servers were quite poorly trained. I had asked if we could sit by the side table by the window where I was promptly told that it was reserved for a party for more people and I was directly to sit at the back. They later put only two people there before any food was even served to us!

Since they put all the chopsticks, silvery and napkins in the drawer under the table, half way thru our meal some server stood and looked at us, as if she was gonna talk to us, while she took the silvery out for the other table.

Food: It did say "Kobe beef" on the menu for the pho bo (raw beef noodles soup)! Surely enough I didn’t expect it to be Kobe - not for that price anyway. But I couldn’t tell how it was any different to the frozen American one I had during hotpot. The broth and turnip were both flavorless. And all the beef were thoroughly cooked by the time it was served.

Grilled beef salad, again, was flavorless and the beef was boiled. The fish sauce was pretty plain as well.

I would recommend against going there.
