Enjoy having dinner at Petrus! Food is always good!

I always like restaurant with luxury ambiance for special occasions, Petrus, Toscana (closed), Grissini, Gadda's, Brasserie on the Eight...Food in Petrus is very sophisticated, always like to taste their 6-course/ 8-course menu.

The appetizer was great, tomato, with black truffle and Burrata cheese, tomato is sweet and matched nicely with the vinegar, mixing cheese and truffle, this was a mouth watering appetizer.The best food for the night is Celeriac Risotto, meadow mushroom with organic poached egg. The rice with the a hint of mushroom flavor, in additional to the taste of fresh and smooth egg yolk, the combination is just matched so well in my mouth. Highly recommended.Other food was nice as well, ending with a very delicious souffle, smooth and warm, inside is in molten stage! Very delicious!

Great to enjoy a nice dinner with Wine...^^Overall service was good.....despite one staff was a bit rude...

It's worth to enjoy life once a while~

Having few months not visiting One Harbour Road, suddenly wanted to "Yum Cha" there. Seating nearby the window is the best, enjoying both good ambiance and silence.

I am not sure why the service was not as professional as before. I have my tea cup set up in front of me but the tea & tea pot was not delivered until 5 mins later, i asked for it again. I shakes my hand for so long that no one alerted me! they tried to act fast after they alerted me)

Food is not as good as before, the shrimp dumpling was not as crispy as before and the tulip cake was not seasoning enough...

Others are okay ....I asked the staff if they have changed chef, the staff said there are a few new chef...may be that's why~

Hope they can improve, as it is one of my favorite restaurant before~

Day off playing badminton with friend, we found a new shop at Sai Wan Ho, the outlook is very different from other shops on the same street, thus, we wanna give it a try.

One side of shop is nicely decorated, just another side seems not very match....but ok as it looks good within Sai Wan Ho district

Food is very different from most of the shops in Sai Wan Ho, i guess they sell fusion food (Japanese + Western). I quite like the logo as it is a bit abstract and I saw a crab and shrimp/fish, but my friend said it looks like cow..( i cannot see how it looks like cow..) After consulting the staff there, i was told that it is from a professional designer and it is really a crab and shrimp..hehe..I win^^

Food is good, i like especially like the Salmon Caesar, the Romaine lettuce was quite crispy with a very delicious Caesar dressing, I think they used expensive ingredient like anchovies,Capers and mustard (if i didn't taste wrongly) , very outstanding salad dressing for me (but sauce is a bit too much)...will try again later on.

I tried the snowy crab shell, the crab shell is creamy and cheesy but too creamy that not my cup of tea (i like to taste strong crab meat stuff)...but quite a lot of crab meat was seen in the crab shell. My friend do like the crab shell a lot.

Swiss Chicken wings is so so, nothing special

Can try again when i go to Sai Wan Ho next time...may be dinner time....

Poor service, it's sunday and wanna hang around coffee shop. Founded a table at a window seat, I asked someone at the cashier to clean up the table and she was acted like she didn't wanted. I stood beside the table for around 1 min that she came to clean up. I would have moved the dishes away if there were only a few pcs but it was not. Coffee was normal without special , the cheese cake was bad, the outlook was good but May be it was kept in the fridge for tooo long that the outer of cheesecake was hard like rock and feel like plastic! Luckily, when I continue eat until the middle part of the cheesecake, it tastes a bit better. So I think it is not the supplier's problem but procedures and standard problems of habitu! I may not eat cheesecske here again!

This is a new restaurant nearby my office, so try something new! The taste is so so. Nothing too good or bad. I tasted the Xiu Long Bao, the texture of meat is good & not too soft, the meat is juicy and without strong marinated taste, the skin of the Xiu Long Bao is a bit thick, can make it thinner. 雞絲粉皮is good. For the fish shop with vegetable, fish soup with strong msg taste and the vegetable is very old. We ordered fried rice with egg white, the rice is too hard, but they haven't used much oil to fry.

Overall, it's ok i would say, service is fair only. The staff don't familiar to the menu and order was taken slowly. However, the manager is too hard sell which I don't feel too good, should strike a balance!

Arriving at 10:30pm, thinking to have a light dinner..hehe..in turn, i am quite full tonight.
I wanna come to MIST for a long time but i didn't ....My and I order one ramen each, his is 豉油拉麵 +叉燒 + 糖心蛋 and mine is 盬 味 拉麵 +叉燒 . 叉燒 is very smooth and tasty. For Japanese 叉燒, people usually put in the soup for few hours, then marinated for a day. The sifu in mint is capturing very good timing, taste is very good, not too salty and keep the taste of pork.3 big pieces per bowl which is quite good in size.
豉油soup is a bit too strong for me and i only got one zip of my bf's soy sauce soup.
My 盬 味 soup is lightly salted and tasted the soup with boiling long time with different ingredient. I think they must use pig head as pig head gives the best taste.
糖心蛋is good because the egg yolk is just about done and not done, egg yolk taste good, should be egg from Japan...which is good taste, the egg albumen is lightly soaked with the sauce, not too salty..

We ordered 櫻花木焗幸福麥豬, there are a lot of smoke flavor inside the pig. I personally like it, but people who doesn't like smoke may not like it. I think the wood give a bit smoke flavor, and they put a piece of thyme to bake together so that the pork absorbed the taste of thyme, which i think it is good. On the top, the chef baked mozzarella to create different taste. The mozzarella is not a strong flavor cheese and the cheese flavor was covered by black pepper sauce. I think the mozzarella was over cooked so that the texture is a bit hard. The combination is actually good.
$120 per noodle is fine provided that the quality is good. If you are just paying $50 bucks less...and you will just tasting a very normal noodles as elsewhere.
Worth to try and you will feel the difference.
Service is good but waiter are not smart enough!

Off at 9pm, wanna have a dinner nearby. Joining bf at Sheung wan mtr, so we have a dinner at Club de flavor, this is a fusion restaurant, joining european food and thai food. We have 2 set dinners, I ordered Mushroom with truffle pearl rice and my bf had a thai grill grill fish. Appetizer is okay, it is salmon salad, the truffle rice is actually quite tasty. Grill fish is ok as least it is not fishy, the sauce is good taste. It's very nice that the boss treat us a cheese cake for free. The cheese cake taste ok. Coffee is pretty nice. Overall a satisfactory dinner! Will definitely come again!

This is my second time eating oyster as dessert! Sheraton Oyster Bar is still one of my favorite place for Oyster. When i wan to have cheaper oyster, i will go Casa Fina. This night, my best friend and I would like to have oyster again, therefore, we booked Casa Fina at 9pm. This is because we would only like to have Oyster in Casa fina, $398 a oyster platter with 2 glasses of white wine ( well ..bad one) and 2 whelks.

We ordered sth from Australia ( forgot the name) , Irish gigas, Fine de clair, white pearl, Gillardeau and Belon ooo. The best was White pearl very sweet, crispy and with oyster flavor. Belon is still not our flavor as the metal taste inside the mouth made me sick.

The reason that we do not want to have other hot dish at casa fina largely because it is over priced and the taste is not special.

We have dinner at Citysuper, having sushi and salmon wrap from the deli. The salmon wrap is very good taste, with quite a lot of smoke salmon as filling. $45 smoke salmon wrap is really a bargain.

The whole dinner was good except the horrible dessert at Toi.

Wanna to have linguine, wanna to go to Admiralty Grappa's, suddenly think I haven't been to grappas in Quarry Bay, so i want to give it a try.

The bread is good but only have 2 choices, rosemary bread and french toast, Rosemary bread is my favorite. But it they also serve cheese stick, then should be even better.

Talking about food, as usual, I ordered seafood linguine and Pizza Salsiccia. The tomato sauce was not strong in tomato taste, and quite salty, the texture of linguine is ok. The seafood look nice but they actually not fresh. Shrimp is frozen shrimp with strong frozen taste. This may probably occurred from inadequate defrost time. In additional, they shrimp are too crispy that they apparently put too much vinegar to marinate that. Fish are not fresh with strong fishy smell. The dish is not quality in my perspective.

For the pizza, it is normal taste, a bit salty as usual.

I ordered my favorite beer that night, Chimay Blue, they only offer 750ml one. I have taken it. Very nice! A taste with a bit blueberry flavor..i love it!

Woke up at 12 sth, a rainy Sunday! Hanging out with bf and we don't want to go too far. We walked to Pumpernickel at Quarry Bay. Arriving at around 2, I have a Salmon salad set, served with soup and bread, suddenly wanted to eat scramble egg, I added an egg on the side for $5. I heard that the next table was complaining about the soup, which is cold, I also received a light warm soup as well. I didn't complaint it as I want to have a peaceful sunday. The bread is good as usual, still warm and crunchy, best to eat with bread. I love pumpernickel bread with a very pungent smell of wheat and a bit of herbs. Very delicious. My salmon salad plate also served with 2 big pieces of pumpernickel bread and i cannot finish them. For salmon, 4 small pieces, taste is ok. The scramble egg is good, very smooth but the taste of egg is not very strong. I believe they are US egg, in which egg white percentage is comparatively more than yolk. Coffee is just fair although their machines look great, a bit better than Starbuck anyhow!
