Group-bought the new menu they have, called "ton yam gung" rice noodle, with 3 chicken satay sticks, and one drink, which has to be cold green tea with jelly. $39 for the above. (the original price of this combo was $39+$10+$12)we arrived early so there were not many ppl. service was so-so. but i didn't expect much anyway. the food and drinks were ready like after 1 minute we ordered. guess all stuff were pre-cooked? the tom yam gung smelt good, tasted pretty good too. it has 2 shrimps, 2 fake c
we arrived early so there were not many ppl. service was so-so. but i didn't expect much anyway. the food and drinks were ready like after 1 minute we ordered. guess all stuff were pre-cooked? the tom yam gung smelt good, tasted pretty good too. it has 2 shrimps, 2 fake crab meat sticks, and 2 fishballs. the noodle were a little over-cooked so it was not so chewy.
the chicken sticks were obviously pre-cooked. they were cold and despite the colour, it tasted no satay at all. the source too, very cold and tasted like NOTHING. i was expecting it was mustard or something.
the drink was ok. there was a plum at the bottom. it tasted sourly. not too sweet. i kinda like it.
ok so what i wanted to say is that this place is bright and opened, i thought the hygiene was good but i was very wrong. please look at the pics below to see what was in the bowl. openrice does not allow me to write that out but i guess it's pretty clear to see it yourself.
we didn't bother to complaint coz we were almost done. and we have already paid. we don't want another bowl anyway.and we felt weird of our stomach for few days after this meal. i can't say it was all because of the "net" and the "bug" but i am just writing it out for your reference.
the taste was ok but i am not coming back here again.

ok here is something that i want to ask openrice's editors. this piece of food review was written for 2 weeks or so and it wasn't allowed to post. what takes so long to make a decision to decline my review, if you found it violating your "rule" at the beginning? aren't my pics strong enough to prove that every word i said is based on my real experience? you thought i made this up? i am really disappointed about how openrice runs this site.
