Sham Shui Po is an interesting neighbourhood. It's got everything but only if you know where to look and if you are adventurous enough to go find it, you can find some pretty good hidden gems.

Located in the jungle like food court section of Dragon Centre (a big shopping mall complex) is this little food court stand that serves one thing and one thing only. Korean fried chicken. Though the menu is in Chinese, it's pretty simple to order as it comes in three sizes: small, medium, large. There are two sauces to choose from: spicy or sweet. The owner is actually Korean and he speaks English. Actually, he doesn't really speak Chinese.

When you order, he (or sometimes his wife who comes to help him) will make the chicken on the spot, rolling the sauce until it's evenly coated. A few rice cakes are also added to your cup. I ordered a small cup in sweet sauce. I really like the sauce as it's sweet with a small hint of spice. There are no bones as it's mainly diced chicken strips. But the chicken is moist and not dry. The sauce? Did I say the sauce is perfect? Yeah, it is. It's a great small fix for those days you want a fried chicken moment. The rice rolls are not hard but soft and great dipped into the sauce.

A treasure in Sham Shui Po. Always a favorite when I'm in the area. You definitely should find it.
