I hadn't been cooked food centres(熟食中心) run by Hong Kong Government for decades XD.My friend suggested that we went to a chinese restaurant specialized in chicken hotpot(雞煲) called ''Fai Kee chicken hotpot''(輝記雞煲火鍋) located at 4/F, Shui Wo Street Municipal Services Building, 9 Sui Wo Street Kwun Tong(觀塘瑞和街9號瑞和街市政大樓4樓).This restaurant is totally a classic HongKongese style local Dai Pai Pong.If you want to experience the HongKongese local culture, it definately is one of your choices.Special flav

This restaurant is totally a classic HongKongese style local Dai Pai Pong.

If you want to experience the HongKongese local culture, it definately is one of your choices.

Special flavours of hotpots are served in this restaurant.

i.e.
1.Goose(奇味鵝煲)
2.Lamb(黑草羊腩煲)
3.Fresh water clams & pig intestines hotpot(蝴蝶腩粉腸花甲鍋)
4.Coconut chicken(椰子雞煲)

which are not commonly found in other restaurants.

Even though I had eaten pcountless of chicken hotpots before, I had never tried ones with such kind of flavours.

It is peculiar in a good way, packs with tons of eccentric flavours with a numbing heat.

Customers can choose the intensities of spiciness and numbness according to their preferences.

Customers can also add various ingredients into the hotpot.

I added sweet potato vermicelli/ noodles (蕃薯粉) HKD$25 into the pot after finished the chicken.

The vermicelli is chewy, gluey that soaked up all the essences and flavours of the chicken hotpot.Yummmmmm

The portion is hugeeeeeeeeeee which is value for money.

Value for money in such low price yet large portion.

Chewy, bouncy, springy dumpling skin with minced fish and pork mixture filing.

Flavourful, not too salty nor greasy.Yummmmm.

Very affordable and economic!!!
