The name sounds cool. The high ceiling and spaciousness make good sense for a loft setting restaurant. At first sight, these make you think it's a chic hipster western restaurant. The mocking however has not even touched the surface. I can only best describe it as a Hong Kong style cafe serving western food (it claims to be serving British but their menu suggests international).First the food. My lunch was supposed to be pesto ravioli but it turned out to be ravioli with some kind of green stuff
First the food. My lunch was supposed to be pesto ravioli but it turned out to be ravioli with some kind of green stuffing in a pool of Swanson's chicken soup that came in a bowl that was covered with crumbs of floury stuff on the side! My friend's big breakfast was a stack of tasteless and oily mushrooms, cheap bacon strips and supermarket ham with 1/2 a burnt waffle and unroasted vine tomatoes on the side. Coffee - they use UHT milk to make their coffees, gosh, and do they taste like instant Nescafe!
