This was my 2nd time visiting Jamie's Italian and I straightly went for the Arancini margherita which stole my heart the instant I ate that last time
It looked as though it's very spicy but actually it wasn't. I simply loved the arrabiata sauce! I hate it when the deep fried food burn my tongue or palate but this dish was never too hot (neither cold of course) and I couldn't find any flaws in this.

We saw some trainees trying the platters and so we decided to order one ourselves~ We chose to have a platter that serves two ($84x2=$168)! We weren't a big fan of cured meat but it was great for us to share this plank among ourselves! The olives weren't too salty. I personally liked the prosciutto most~

My first time encountering polenta was 2 months ago when I visited Italy. So when I saw "polenta chips" in the menu I've decided to order it! Of course this is completely another way of cooking from what I had last time, but I still enjoyed it as much, with the cheese and rosemary on top! I liked it but I don't think I can finish half the dish, so if there were only two of us I wouldn't recommend ordering this, because it might be too much for my throat.

This glass of Aperitivo was alright. I don't know much about wine so I'm not going to comment much haha! ;)

My first time having fennel as a salad. The dish tasted normal. I don't think I would miss the dish although it wasn't bad either.

Finally, our mains! I LOVED the texture of this squid-ink spaghetti! As usual, the taste of squid ink wasn't heavy, but the texture of this spaghetti was perfect to me! But the scallops were a little too thin...

Our second pasta! The crumbs on top was great! Again, the texture of the pasta (pappardelle) was good~

Our last mains - fish in a bag! I fell for the fish on my first bite! The taste wasn't heavy at all and again, it was served with the arrabiata sauce that I liked! It wasn't written in the menus but it came with rice at the bottom as well! I didn't taste the mussels myself as I'm trying to avoid seafood but my companions were satisfied with them!

No meals can end perfectly without DESSERTS!!! (Especially for people who have sweet tooth like me!) The epic brownie is one of the most popular desserts in this restaurant and I had no doubt for that after tasting it! The brownie wasn't the kind which is very dense, but a softer type which I personally liked better. The gelato was salted caramel in flavour (although I could taste more salt than caramel) and it went so well with the brownie together with the caramelized popcorn! It's rather a new taste to me!

Tiramisu! This isn't a kind of dessert I'm always fond of (I like sweetness in desserts more but to a lesser extent bitterness in dessert like tiramisu or affogato)... But this tiramisu impressed me with its orange flavoured mascarpone! The trifle was moistened with coffee and it was moistened to a right extent! I hate it when a trifle is too damp and the feeling of biting onto "liquid trifle" sometimes just disgust me (personally... no offense to those who liked that kind of tiramisu)! So I really enjoyed eating this freshening dessert!

Vanilla panna cotta... It tasted good but compared to the two above it impressed me less... There wasn't much vanilla taste to me... But all in all it's still good!
