Plus a chic yet cozy decor
And pretty nice coffees
1. Creme Brulee Cappuccino ($35)
- liked the crisp caramelised sugar on top
- so no need for extra sugar for the cap
- nice soft rich souffle-like foam and decent coffee
- there's a butterscotch version for those with a sweet tooth
2. Espresso Lungo ($27 regular)
- to my surprise it's a large cup
(in contrast to the "shot-size" variety from Cafe Corridor nearby)
- the coffee they use has a balanced flavour
- good for your daily dose of caffeine
What about breakfast?
Continental Breakfast ($48)
Very substantial which includes
Scone, baguette x 2 slices, fruit and youghurt, muesli and milk
served with jam, honey & butter
- the scone is huge (thus could not be included in the photo), but was just so-so, too "floury" due to its size
- the bauguette is actually better but still a bit too doughy
- give yourself a healthy dose of fibre with the muesli
- and the calcium you need with the youghurt highlighted with the sweet fresh diced fruits
- comes with a coffee of your choice too
- great for brunch
You can try the Full Breakfast ($58) if you are in the crave for a fry-up.
Staff are friendly enough, and sometimes they bring the drinks to you, but more often you have to get then yourself at the counter even when they will serve you the food.
Though not exactly Italian as proclaimed, it's great for a casual drink, meal and chat.
