Food is reasonable nice, some with good presentation, first time to be there, tried the tasting menu, good service but environment not good as expected, is a small restaurant, the price set high but the place is not as fancy as expected, and the air conditioning was too cold all night. continue reading

三月是香港的藝術月,藝術氣息越來越濃厚!約了三個朋友一齊試試大官廳的品藝盛宴,晚餐菜單 HK$888一位,非常不錯!走進餐廳酒吧到餐廳一樓,已看到牆上掛滿油畫作品,是全新的展覽由3月11日起至5月31日。展覽是本地藝術家朱麗晴Liane Chu的作品,展覽名為「她的感覺」。每幅作品也非常吸引,一邊品嚐晚膳,一邊欣賞藝術展覽,確實令人賞心悅目!談到食物方面,最喜歡頭盆菜式包括椒鹽日本白海老、法國黑魚子煙燻糖心蛋、黑鑽蒜香溫室小青瓜,很精緻,而且更特別以藝術家的作品印製為別緻的器皿奉上,非常吸睛!另外特別推介大官烤鴨,非常特別,除了傳統吃法之外,可配以黃糖、紅菜頭、台灣鳳梨及日本子薑,尤其是紅菜頭、鳳梨與鴨油是意外匹配的配搭,很夾很美味!在品嚐主菜蜂蜜慢煮安格斯牛肋肉時,餐廳悉心安排了畫掃給我們,可在碟上畫上醬汁發揮一下創意,相當不錯!我覺得藝術不侷限於藝術展覽,能從美食中體驗藝術,值得推介!加上大官廳的環境令人覺得舒服,必定再來試其他招牌菜式! continue reading

Not enough waiters - ordered Peking Duck and it got cold waiting. They reheated it but it wasn’t as good as round one. Full duck is so small it barely fed 2 people. Waiters didn’t bring drinks until 3rd request.If you have allergies don’t come here - the staff has no clue what they use to make food. Asked waitress if they used peanuts and did not get an answer until after the first course had been sitting at the table for 10min. Sweet and sour pork felt more like sweet and sour pineapple - where is the meat? Pineapple was tasty.*Seating* - if you are tall you don’t have enough space to sit as the tables are too low.Good things -> general decor was good and eggplant pork was very delicious. The negatives far outweighs the positives and give a bad name to good local dining. For this price go elsewhere unless you like cold food and slow inattentive staff. As a bonus review - the waiter dropped dishes like they were trying to make music! continue reading
