Slow Cooked Egg, Potato & Cheese Puree with Iberico Ham份量不多,精緻的小盤子裡紅黃綠三色俱備,數片鹹香的伊比利亞火腿,圍攏著中間的芝士薯泥,上面還有吹彈得破的慢煮波蛋和嫩綠的沙律菜。把波蛋剖開,讓裡面黃黃白白的蛋漿與伊比利亞豬火腿與芝士薯泥混和眺進口中,多層次的味道和口感,帶來不錯的滋味。

這凍湯因為下了杏仁的關係,口感沙沙的,杏仁味十分濃郁,一喝便可以喝出來,鹹鹹的煙鱔與甜甜的香桃雪糕,一冷一熱,對比強烈,味道突出,與充滿杏仁味的凍湯也許不算十分合襯,卻是別有風味,令人難忘。

第一道主菜 Pork Knuckles with Pears 是沒說的好,豬手夠大隻,味道鹹淡適中,而且無論皮、肉與皮肉之間的脂膏全都恰如其份,應脆的脆,應滑的滑,應腍的腍,讓人吃得十分滿意,就是一向不大喜歡吃豬手的老婆仔,也讚不絕口。配角的梨塊,十分清甜,也有錦上添花的效果。

另一道主菜 Veal Carpaccio with Manchgo Cheese也很不錯。份量不少,粉嫩粉紅的生牛仔肉片整整齊齊地排列在白色的碟子上,鮮嫩的生牛仔肉片上撒上細碎的 Manchgo Cheese和香草,無論下不下另行奉上的蛋黃醬汁,都一樣好味。

最後來到甜品環節,Xuxos Choux Pastry with Smoked Milk Ice Cream是較特別的。沾有糖霜在外面的甜味泡芙,伴以香滑獨特的煙燻牛奶雪糕,甜上加甜,帶來雙重的甜蜜享受。

What else is better than having it with Sangria?Forgot the exact name but the oysters were fresh and nice.  How can we miss bikini out while having Spanish food?  It's so simple but yet nice.The dessert was so cute.  It was such a nice anniversary dinner Even we didn't have a time for a little get away, at least we felt like we were in Spain during these few hours

雖然挪威海螯蝦並不常見於地中海,不過由於肉質豐富,價格比龍蝦廉宜,因此近年流行於西班牙葡萄牙等地,作為特別節日料理.不過有點要弄清楚此蝦是龍蝦親戚,有別於長相差不多卻長於湖泊河流的crayfish淡水螯蝦,基於某些原因,crayfish我就不會吃了..
這個菜式以一層層麵皮淋上龍蝦汁而成,麵質感al dente,醬汁鮮味濃稠,嘴嚼時眼睛不其然在滾動,因為實在太好味!

不大清楚這個菜式用什麼豬和那個部位,不過爽爽的口感譲我有點擔心是是豬頸肉,既然稱得上fillet就該是豬柳吧;份量渺渺幾片,有點少,橘子汁甜酸得宜,不過由於汁比較稀其實不用打泡吧..因為出來效果有些強差人意..pork fillet活像在吐口水似.

雖然每間西班牙餐廳的crystal bread做法不同,不過這個更像一塊餅乾,跟我的認知近乎天淵之別,因為亳不airy,沒有大氣泡,縱使外表很脆,而crystal bread本該就是烘烤得脆化..起初忘記了是配襯什麼肉,吃著看似是沙甸魚,又類近呑拿魚,但肉明明是長長一條fillet,才想起是鰹魚耶,怪不得口感味道那麼像沙甸,因為牠們是同科,鰹魚肉質較結實和深色,淋上蜜糖美茲醬撒以小荳芽,整體感連貫起來,不過可能包底太像餅乾,作為小吃頭盤更適合,完全沒有主菜feel,因為份量實在不大..

最後,我不大欣賞這個Spanish Custard,該股甜勁絕對在衝擊普世減糖的健康趨勢..真的沒法子嚥下..不過兩杯咖啡倒香濃可口.

雖然主菜份量有點不大方,而甜品custard我沒法子喜歡;可是Catalunya依然是我香港喜歡的西班牙餐廳之一,期望下趟會有較完滿的體驗吧.

早前一行7人來到這慶祝媽媽的生日。環境不會太嘈雜,每張枱都保持足夠的距離,坐得舒適。 食物每款也很特別,用上優質的材料。我最喜歡的是Ham cheese truffle Bikini跟squid in risotto。令加上truffle後的ham & cheese 多士更香濃。risotto的口感煮得剛剛好,飯不會太淋,加上墨魚汁夠乾身。至於side dishes方面也毫不遜色。我們點了的燒菠蘿,澄金黃色並多汁甜美。至於那14days suckling pig,媽媽覺得那陣肉蘇味太強,不能夠接受。最後他們送來了生日甜品。整體食物跟服務還不錯,一定會再來訪!

小妹先點了一杯Everest,當中的味道是蜜糖和菠蘿為主,清甜可口,酒味不強,喝不喝酒都會喜歡這杯cocktail呢。

來到這裡,我又怎能不吃Jamón呢? 100%吃橡樹果的豬仔,只有這種Jamón 是最棒的,味道香濃而不會過鹹,帶著橡果香,用來配酒是最棒的。

據郵件所述,正常用餐不設進餐時限。但是若果該晚客人太多,便可能需要限制客人的用膳時間為兩小時。如果真的啓動這個機制,客人還枱後可以移師酒吧區免費享用雞尾酒一杯。

我們當晚也真期盼「被邀請」埋單,可惜用膳到最後食店也未見人滿之患,失卻免費品嚐美酒的機會。

翻轉了整個餐牌,竟然看不見Tasting menu的項目。

立時跟服務員查詢,得到的答案竟然是: "今日没有Tasting menu供應!"

心立時涼了一截。是自己没有事先查詢清楚?

"那Tasting menu 是不是在weekdays才供應的?" 心有不甘, 肯恩開始有點挑機的口吻。

"也不是,是這段時間也没有供應。我們是按照食材的供應去決定是否會做Tasting menu的...."

是肯恩的事先準備功夫做得不夠?還是食店??....

畢竟是為朋友做的生日晚宴,斷不能為此事掃了吃飯的雅興,肯恩很快便自我調節整頓好。沒有Tasting menu便點ar la carte菜式吧!!

不過翻了menu數翻,單憑menu字面的描述,似乎很難想像食物的樣式。

此時一外藉服務員似乎體察到我們的困惑模樣,主動為我們提供協助。從自己的手機裡,找來餐牌上菜式的照片向我們逐一介紹,服務殷勤友善。

雖然照片沒能涵蓋餐牌上全部的菜式,但已足夠給我們作出選餐的決定。

最後點了五份tapas跟一份主菜。

跟他他送來的還有數塊多士薄脆。多士都做得很透薄,拿上手還可感到多士的溫熱。

雖然菜式賣相有點奇特,但舀了一羹蕃茄他他來吃,味道出奇地好吃。
蕃茄的口感有點兒似肉乾,但吃下去盡是蕃茄的香甜味道。除了蕃茄,茄乾當中還滲混了不同的香草調味料,所以那股清甜味是複雜且具層次性的,令味蕾努力想探索清甜味道背後的秘密。

至於那伴碟的泡沫,單吃好像沒甚麼特別,但當把泡沫與蕃茄伴在一起吃時,竟產生微吵的催化作用,蕃茄的味道頓時像在口腔內化了開來一樣,綿綿的感覺似有還無,再與薄得不能再薄的脆暖多士同吃,多重口感與滋味同時在口腔爆破,美味得筆墨難以形容!!

對於這種安排,讓肯恩有點兒覺得食店似乎想把心力都押在主菜及tapas上,甜品變成晚餐的配角。

嚐不了嘗味菜單,最後只使用了免兩道tapas的coupon。

不過當結脹向部長出示coupon時,部長似乎有點抱怨我們應在下單時出示coupon,大抵我們結脹時應是食店最繁忙的時段,行使coupon好像令部長添加了工作量。不過個人覺得,一早出示coupon是預設食客不會有2nd order? 我們當晚的菜式點選亦是分先後兩次下單,若早早出示coupon只會令之後的賬單處理更為混亂。部長似乎未能察覺過程裡面可能出現的變化,不過看見部長忙到一頭烟的樣子,肯恩也免得多花他的時間去跟他解釋了。

綜合覺得,食店的tapas 做得既有特色亦十分出色。吃罷晚餐,更瞭動起肯恩堅決要再來一試嘗味菜單的興趣。且看再過數個月之後是否有機會再來一趟。

Main dishes were somewhat average and disappointing. The codfish was too salty and the duck rice just tasted weird so I didn't bother taking good pictures.

However, the worst part of the dining was the service. As we were hungry and after seeing how small the portions were for the appetisers, we asked for a few rounds of bread. In most restaurants, the bread requested with meals is usually free. If it isn't, the menu would usually state the price or waiters would inform us. However, we only found out that this restaurant charged us for bread when we checked the bill.

We asked a waiter about this and he said that only one round of bread was for free. We told him that we were not informed that we would have to pay for bread. He had the guts to ask if we wanted to void the bread. What great service (sarcasm). Perhaps they will charge for tap water next year?

The price for this quality of food and service is definitely not worth it.

Seriously Catalunya, if you don't want diners to dine cheaply at your restaurant, don't join the restaurant week deals. It has only made your reputation worse.

牛排面有少少黑椒、海鹽吊味~~
而且每一塊都帶有少少筋,而筋旁邊有少少脂肪~~
當你享受每塊的美味,會咬到少少筋~ 筋又係好易咬開~~

最重要係咬下筋位,脂肪的油份就滲出~~

個人對三文魚,如果有得選擇,都會盡量挑刺身或慢煮的,煎炸焗蒸的興趣都不大,慢煮後魚質較嫩滑,沾上少許椰菜花菜泥,帶出甜美的味道,配上帶子、火箭菜及西班牙紅椒,絲毫沒有油膩感,非常健康。

最後是DARK CHOCOLATE TART WITH VANILLA ICE-CREAM
用雲呢拿雪糕蓋在黑朱古力撻上面,雪糕受熱下加速溶化,所以一定要快食,幸好黑朱古力甘香中滲出甜味,很啱在下胃口。
雖然餐廳周已過,但從幾道不同菜色中,已覺得水準不俗,地點又旺中帶靜,在心水餐廳中又多了一個選擇。

當晚和眾友人一起到了這正宗的西班牙餐廳吃晚飯,雖地址寫是灣仔,但其實與銅鑼灣會比較近。到達時,從門外看到內裏黑暗,還以為找錯了地方,原來只是餐廳比較昏暗,滿有氣氛。餐廳大致分兩邊,一邊是我們用餐的地方,另一邊是酒吧。以西班牙的iberico ham作為一餐的開首,香港人會比較怕鹹,所以可配蕃茄多士同吃,多士的白麵包部份吸滿酸香的蕃茄汁,而底部仍然香脆。一口bite size的baguette,由這裡的signature iberico裹着,鹹鹹脆脆的,很適合佐酒。可食用的紅唇膏,讓我想起了小時候吃的唇膏糖,會邊吃邊塗。不過長大了,這唇膏就不是糖果,而換成了Cocktail Bloody Mary雪皅,創意滿分!唇膏味道有點像Tabasco混Ketchup,生蠔上再有西芹味的泡泡,感覺很奇妙!生蠔亦非常之鮮甜!除了Bloody Mary的紅唇,另一款生蠔伴以假檸檬!檸檬果肉換成了檸檬啫喱,清新酸澀。生蠔肥美鮮甜,不太愛生蠔的我都覺得很不錯!無花果醬的香甜與鵝肝的豐腴,是永遠的絕配!底下一塊脆餅,上面再有iberico火腿,層次之豐富,難以言喻!超級喜歡這多款材料放在一起的和諧,掌控在黃金

小豬的死狀⋯⋯是有點不好看,但其實和中式的乳豬,賣相基本一樣。
40天大的西班牙豬,用來燒烤成乳豬,皮脆肉嫩,極為多汁鮮嫩!薄薄的脆皮,底下濃香稚嫩的豬肉,肉厚骨細,無可挑剔!
雖然是小豬,但原隻適合6人或以上分享。
正宗的西班牙菜,多款特色tapas,每款都份量適中,讓我們肚子有位置可以吃到更多不同的菜式!當晚,我們確實過了非常滿足的西班牙夜!
