The Best of Japanese and Korean Cuisine at The Astor
Free selected sea urchin for every four guests
The Astor at Eaton HK brings the best of two of Asia’s most popular cuisines together in one abundant buffet offering - the “Japan-Korea-Topia” buffet debuts this May for both lunch and dinner. For reservations, please call 2710 1901 or email to theastorhk@eatonworkshop.com.

Seafood and Japanese food lovers cannot miss the limited offer - a free set of selected sea urchin (HK$280 per set) for every 4 guests.

From 6 May, guests can tuck into the new delectable offering that includes hot and cold dishes as well as live cooking stations. At the carving station, evening guests can enjoy a Slow Cooked Galbi Marinated Rump Cap, while the hot dish station boasts Korean BBQ Stewed Lamb Leg, popular Korean Fried Chicken, Kimbap and tempting Grilled Teriyaki Chicken

A Mentaiko Pasta nods to the flavours of Japan in the context of an Italian dish: mentaiko cream sauce, shiso and nori are combined with mentaiko cream sauce for an indulgent and hearty dish that is sure to hit the spot.

From the raw selection, the fresh Yellow Tail, carved on the spot, is highly recommended and will be available at dinner time on weekends and public holidays. Featuring over ten types of fresh sashimi, such as Salmon, Tuna, Hokkigai, Snapper and more. Rainbow Maki featuring salmon, tuna and snapper, as well as Salmon & Salmon Roe Maki and decadent Lobster Salad Maki also deliver the finest flavors of the ocean.

Plentiful tempura options like Crab Croquettes and Shrimp deliver perfect crunch. Dinner guests should be sure to grab the Oyster Cutlet tempura.

The Japanese and Korean theme continues with dessert. Purple Sweet Potato Roll Cake and Muscat Grape Tart are as visual as they are delicious, whilst Hojicha Chocolate Cream Puff celebrates nutty tea flavors. There will also be Raindrop Cakes, Taiyaki and a Japanese Choux Station served on rotation. Our Raindrop Cake is the ultimate ethereal dessert: sweet, light, and looks like a drop of magical water filled with fruit!

Wash it all down with theme-appropriate drinks like Yuzu Soju Soda, only available at dinner time, which the fruity and sweet flavor of Yuzu is great paired with the Korean soju. Guests can also enjoy Japanese sweet potato milk and refreshing Calpis Soda. Geonbae!
