Before taking the bus at Exchange Square, I went to Urban Bakery Works and had a large salad box of about $75. 

For the large size, 5 salad types could be selected.  There are about 7-8 types offered.  I did not pick those with seasame because of the allegry problem, I selected the following:

1. Beetroot (OK.  the beetroot cubes are large in size!)
2. Tomato and pepper (The red peppers are very sweet and tasty!)
3. Califlower with sour cream (The sour cream is tasty!)
4. Corn with spicy paprika (the spicy taste isvery mild, even I can tolerate)
5. Caesar salad (The best among the five!  The roman lettuce is crispy and fresh, and the paramesan cheese is strong, the dish is full of cheese flavour!  Very Very good!)

The salad box is quite large in size.  Therefore, even the salads that I picked did not contained any pasta, I was very full after finishing the meal. 

The quality of the salads are very high and the size is large.  It is very valuable and I highly recommend it!!

I bought two kind of sandwiches today. Both are vegetarian.

1. Brie & cranberry 
This is a new released sandwich, consists of Brie, cranberry sauces, roasted pine nuts and spinach. $1 will be donated for buying this sandwich.

Brie is soft and has a mild taste. Not perfectly match with the cranberry sauce. The overall taste is plain. Healthy but not fantastic.

2. British cheddar and pret pickle

It consists of cheddar, pickle sauce, mayo sauce, tomato, red onion and salad vegetables. It has a stronger and more distinctive taste than 1 above. The cheddar cheese is saltier and it matches well with the pickle sauce. More vegetables and so healthier. This is simple but delicious and I like it very much.

I ordered a vegetable lasagna for about $40. The portion is small and thin. It looked awfully and collapsed. The amount of vegetables inside is few.  Part of the bottom of the lasagna is heated to black!  The taste is just average.  Therefore it is totally not valuable!

I ordered Plate of Apollo with two pieces of waffles, egg, tomato, olives, red onions, spinach and feta cheese ($89) in olive oil. The portion is appropriate to me, and it is a good vegetarian meal as lunch.

All the vegetables are fresh, look good and the feta cheese gives the salty taste of this salad. I appreciate the waffles the most. It is savory and is healthier than the sweet one.  It is not salty, instead it is dominated by the taste of herbs, so making the waffles special and attractive. The herb gives the after taste of the waffles, leading me to want more and more. I eat the waffles with the egg yolk as the sauce, and I found it perfectly matched. For the outlook of the waffles, it is a little bit dark in colour, but the texture is just right, not too hard or soft.

Though the price of this dish is a little bit high, I appreciate the specialty of their savory waffles. I highly recommend it!

I ordered a piece of vegetarian pizza. The size is large and just costs $40. It has tomato sauce and is covered with vegetables like onion, peppers, green leaves and olives. Though the taste could not be regarded as outstanding, it is healthy and is not salty.  It is already warm and do not need to be reheat in the oven. The bread is not dry within and has a soft texture. The thickness of the pizza is moderate. Really a nice and economical food as my supper tonight!

I used to have salad for lunch here because I like the variety of salad they offered.  Today I found that 4 new salad are offered:

1. Potato salad
Potatoes mixed with green peas, mint and seasoned with garlic, salt and pepper. I like its mild salty taste and is the best among the new four.

2. Beetroot in sour cream
The sour cream is tasteless, but The sour taste of the vinegar dominates.  It tastes no big different from the usual beetroot with orange it offered. It cannot surprise me.

3. Pumpkin and pasta
The pumpkin is served with seeds, pasta, herbs and seasoned with garlic and salt. The pumpkin are sweet and this is appetizing.

4. Waldorf salad
Green apple with raisins and walnuts in mayo sauce. Just like other ordinary Waldorf salad. Not special but is refreshing.

These taste good, look colorful and appetizing. 

As I do not eat sugary food and am interested in Dutch pancake, I ordered this tomato and mushroom pancake.  

It comes after about 15 mins. The pancake is very hot but the tomato sauce is cold.  The pancake is thin, tasteless, has a texture similar to marshmallow.  After having half of it, the tomato sauce is warmed up by the heat of the pancake, therefore the temperature of the dish becomes consistent.  

Overall speaking, this pancake tastes no good and is overpriced.  Not recommended.

I ordered a grilled mixed vegetables burger at $54. The size of the burger is quite small, just like McDonald's hamburger. It has melted cheese, A piece of grilled green cucumber, zucchini, yellow cucumber and red pepper, with little green sauce and peppers and salts.  The overall taste is plain and not special. It will not leave you a deep memory.  Nevertheless, I particularly like that the bun does not have any seasame because I am allergic to seasame. 

Overall speaking, the quality/price ratio of this burger is low.  

I ordered a salmon and lemon cheese pizza. ($108)

The pizza has a thin crisp and is very crispy. It is covered with lots of arugula, with the tomato paste gives the freshness of the pizza. I like that! The heat of the pizza melted the cheese, and the sour taste of the cheese goes well with salmon. The texture of the pizza - the soft cheese and salmon, and the crispy pizzas crush, is good. Absolutely tasty! The pizza is large and I was very full after completing it.  

I highly recommend this pizza! Simple but the ingredients match well!

The restaurant had a salad and dessert buffet at $88, which offered the following:

(1) green leaves, like romaine lettuce, baby spinach, arugula;
(2)vegetables: olives, red beans, chickpea, cherry tomatoes, peppers, corns
(3) others: pasta and tuna salad, bread crumbs
(4) mini sandwiches, in corns, and in chicken with mushroom
(5) dessert: creme brûlée, cheese cake, Apple tart, chocolate tart etc

The buffet include a tea.

The taste of the salad and the dessert is average. The vegetables are fresh. The sandwiches are cold but the taste is ok. It would be better if they are warmed. The apple tart however is disappointing. The taste of apple is not distinguished. And it is cold. 

For those who like me love to eat lots of green leaves, the salad buffet is valuable because I can have as many green leaves as I like and they are fresh. Compared with a box of green salad in Wanchai which is likely to cost around $70, the price of this salad buffet is valuable. 

The service of this restaurant is good.
