Finally decent Asian take-away in IFC! They've recently changed the menu (unfortunately taking off one of my favourites) and have added some new tasty options. The green chicken curry is a must - spicy and tasty, much better than the usual bland green curries found in HK. Also good is the Hainan Chicken - great flavour and the rice will have your pores oozing garlic for hours, the way it should be.The kitchen can be a bit slow but the wait is worth it.…查看更多

As a Valley resident I was delighted to see Classified open locally. Hubbie and I decided to try it for dinner soon after opening and were willing to forgive the poor service as it had only recently opened but were disappointed by the poor execution of its limited menu. Happy Valley doesn't have many, if any, good brunch options so we decided to give it another go more recently for brunch. Big mistake. The service was terrible (we had to ask at least 4 times for our coffee and only got it 45min after we had finished eating...and it was only warm) and servings stingy and not very appetizing - scrambled eggs is literally a piece of toast with scrambled eggs, no salad or sides.For dinner head a few streets down to Gusto for much better food and for brunch, Brunch Club in CWB is a thousand times better.…查看更多

It’s too obvious and only partly true to say that the first ‘e’ in ‘creperie’ should be replaced with an ‘a’. La Creperie holds much promise – it has a nice new Brittany inspired nautical décor, complete with lighthouse shaped salt and pepper shakers, a drool inducing menu of sweet and savoury crepes, seafood and cider and it’s run by Frenchmen. What could go wrong? A lot. Like a teacher whose brightest student achieves only average grades due to laziness, I was disappointed. I can’t fault the food much, the crepes were tasty and light, if unfulfilling but I guess that’s the nature of crepes. I thoroughly enjoyed my crepe (singular) with caramel ice cream and caramel sauce even though it was gone in a few bites.A number if things detracted from the experience - wine stained cushions that looked like they’d been used to wipe the tables, having to ask repeatedly for a glass of water, seeing the table next to us being given the wrong order and later seeing our order delivered to another table twice but the real crime occurred when our hot chocolates arrived. This came close to the worst ‘hot chocolate’ I have ever been served which was a cup of drinking chocolate dissolved in boiling water at L’Hotel in Tin Hau (I know, it was L’Hotel in Tin Hau so got what I deserved). Well, La Creperie really should know better than to try to pass off watery milk with a tiny glob of chocolate at the bottom as chocolat chaud. Even when I got to the bottom of the cup there was no chocolate taste.As mentioned at the start, La Creperie should be good which is perhaps why it was disappointing so I’m willing to give it another try in a few months time.
