Their menu is carefully curated and we loved all the dishes ordered, especially the stir-fried beef sheen with fermented bean powder, braised pomelo peel and assorted vegetables, Kin’s barbecue pork, a signature dish freshly roasted to order using the finest blade shoulder cut marinated with sauce from the famous, century-old Liu Ma Kee, fried rice with shredded fried scallop and egg white. Eating a bowl of beef brisket noodles on the slope of a backstreet in the bustling Central, is an experience rarely found elsewhere. To many Hongkongers, the re-opening of Shui Kee must be a thrill, especially when more and more decades-old establishments are closed for good. I came here hoping to savor a bowl of flat rice noodles with “ngau saa gwaa”, which is said to be the fourth stomach of an ox. Apparently, I wasn’t here early enough to compete with other patrons as there are only 2-3 servings of this special deliciousness everyday. I was a bit skeptical venturing into an alleyway on a rainy day but since many people have been raving about this establishment, I decided to give it a try. Normally, I prefer to sit down and taste the chicken fresh out of the chopping board, however, they currently only do takeaways. My expectations are high given that the restaurant is run by a former chef from the Grand Hyatt hotel and they also use the notoriously famous three yellow chicken, which the freshness of the meat should be guaranteed. The boneless Hainan chicken rice was quite delectable and didn’t disappoint. The meat was very tender and succulent, even the skins were crispy without any greasiness. We spent an entire hour waiting to try their Michelin-recommended claypot rice and it was worth it, although the lady guarding the door giving out queue tickets to patrons was a bit intimidating. The portion is big and I’m quite impressed with their “lap mei”, particularly the duck liver Chinese sausage. Their deep fried dice fish balls are also surprisingly delirious. Freshly made dim sum dishes are also available during dinner time and we came back a few days later for breakfast. A bright and spacious restaurant with good vibes. I came here for their set lunch(not cheap, coffee/tea is not included) and was impressed by their friendly staff and quality service. In terms of the food, the soup of the day was very disappointing which was basically flavored water with onions and mushrooms. The portion of the wagyu beef vermicelli is big and the taste was satisfactory but to be honest with the price of the set lunch, the taste of my main course didn’t surprise me. I was in the mood for dessert that day because it was New Year’s Eve, and I picked something that wasn’t included in the set lunch menu. It turned out the pandan milk bread was unexpectedly delicious and the staff made sure they didn’t add too much coconut caramel cause I didn’t want my dessert to be too sweet. 相信好多人同我一樣都好想去旅行✈️，而且特別掛住日本🇯🇵。正當秋高氣爽，Briketenia推出11月限定嘅岐阜富有柿主題下午茶，於是約埋朋友仔黎試下。柿平日就食得多啦，但係以號稱”柿中之王”嘅岐阜富有柿做主題設計嘅下午茶都係第一次試。秋天本來就係食柿嘅季節，見到個tea set嘅顏色同賣相又靓又吸引，心情都馬上變得興奮🥰。鹹點方面，我好鐘意個巴馬火腿配富有柿，佢將平時常用嘅蜜瓜換成富有柿，柔軟有咬口嘅柿肉同火腿搭配出新鮮感，咸甜滋味搭配相得益彰。另外，細細件嘅鵝肝醬mouse配富有柿果粒都好唔錯。甜點方面，我同朋友仔就特別喜歡用新鮮柿肉做，外層沾上椰絲嘅棒棒糖，口感豐富之餘又好可愛。另外，牛乳啫喱富有柿魚子晶球都充滿創意。整個tea set裡面除咗用富有柿做嘅餐點之外，仲有迷你牛肉漢堡，英式鬆餅同大家去日本都一定會食嘅雞蛋三文治。呢個主題下午茶嘅價錢唔算貴，$398/二人用，加多$35仲可以配埋特飲。特飲方面亦用咗新鮮柿肉搭配混合乳酪，橙汁同有氣礦泉水調製而成，味道好refreshing，好適合呢個舒服嘅秋天品嚐。…查看更多

聽聞土瓜灣有間屹立三十多年的北京風味餃子麵食店，仲被視為”土瓜灣三寶之一”，今日決定搭巴士再轉地鐵黎一探究竟。是日禮拜六下晝非繁忙用餐時段，黎到嘅時候未見其他食客。店內其中一位媽媽正在起敬包餃子，其他兩位媽媽就係廚房裡面忙碌。小店嘅環境唔單只樸素，可以講係比較簡陋，牆上嘅餐單簡潔明瞭，無花多眼亂嘅選擇。巧興既然主打北京餃子，當然要試下。叫左半分三鮮煎餃($25)，餃子煎得剛剛好，入口香脆，餃子皮厚度適中，而且又唔會太大隻，裡面嘅餡料肉汁香甜，係我喜歡嘅味道。另外炸醬麵($35)也頗有驚喜，肉醬汁份量足夠，而且咸甜適中，麵也夠煙韌，會令人食過翻尋味。小店內部環境雖然普通，但係食物嘅質素唔錯，感覺是用食物俘虜街坊用心經營的小店。埋單嘅時候留意到收銀臺旁邊貼著一張紙寫上 “事臨頭三思後行，怒上心一忍為高，退一步天空海闊，讓三分心平氣和”。收穫了一碗麵，一份餃子嘅美味之余，還提醒了自己與人相處謹記謙讓同包容。…查看更多

中環街市開佐一段時間，雖然係附近返工，不過一直未好好黎行下，禮拜六晏晝同屋企人黎到，本來霖住應該都唔少人點知又ok，所以可以輕鬆咁行下睇下food court有咩食。試咗呢間下午茶時段嘅新加坡喇沙同蝦麵，分別係68蚊，無餐飲跟，味道都算ok，不過喇沙裡面嘅米粉會夾雜一啲麵，蝦麵裡面又夾一啲粉，雖然唔係咩大問題，而且係food court食嘢都唔會期望出品好有驚喜，總體而言不過不失。我反而係比較欣賞food court裡面嘅設施，餐盤收集處附近設置咗洗手機。…查看更多

去過墨西哥三次，而家無得飛但係又好懷念墨西哥人嘅熱情同當地嘅美食，呢間El Macho可以稍微解決下我嘅心癢。一般來El Macho我都係飲嘢為主，主要係覺得佢地整Margarita嘅墨西哥骷顱頭杯好colorful。通常weekday來飲會好啲，起碼有happy hour優惠。食物方面，佢地嘅tacos叫做不過不失，總體來講tacos呢種本是平民美食嘅嘢，來到香港都變到偏貴。服務方面，呢度嘅waitresses都幾nice，試過有一次收錯我錢，但係就好識做，請左我飲一個Tequila shot。…查看更多

甜家，我更喜歡稱呼呢間鋪頭做甜家媽媽，因為呢度嘅甜品係出自一位心地善良嘅母親。係西營盤住咗兩年，每次想食糖水都會來到甜家。呢度無論係中式定西式糖水都有，而且種類都好多。甜家嘅豆腐花係做得唔錯嘅，天氣熱嘅時候我就鍾意食選擇芒果紅豆豆腐花。不過相比之下，我更喜歡呢度嘅中式糖水，尤其係陳皮紅豆沙，煲得好綿又起沙，淡淡嘅陳皮香亦令到成碗糖水嘅味道昇華，鍾意嘅話仲可以加兩粒花生或者芝麻湯丸。每次食完之後我都好有滿足感。記得疫情之前，附近好多餐廳都因為各種原因都提早收鋪嘅時候，有一次我11點落黎買糖水，我問甜家媽媽點解唔乾脆都早啲，佢話無所謂，萬一有人穩唔到地方食嘢，都可以來食糖水。仲有一次就係我部電話讀唔到張sim card，當時又有急事，好彩經過甜家嘅時候佢地借佐sim card 針俾我解決左燃眉之急。…查看更多

深水埗有唔少平民美食，其中維記係我較常幫襯嘅一間。佢地喺繁忙嘅福榮街上有成三間鋪，節假日經常大排長龍，受歡迎程度可見。唔少來維記食嘢嘅朋友應該都會試佢地嘅豬膶，我亦唔例外。佢地啲豬膶除左處理得好乾淨之外，亦無令人抗拒嘅腥味，而且又唔怕好粉，口感爽彈之餘仲會食到小小筋嘅韌勁。我個人唔太喜歡大大塊嘅厚切豬膶，所以呢度嘅豬膶就完全啱曬我個人口味。維記嘅豬膶之所好味亦有賴個湯底。佢地嘅湯落左唔少薑絲煮，清甜可口又劈到腥味，所以每次我都會先飲一兩啖湯再開始食豬膶同米粉。呢度嘅鮮牛肉唔錯，所以幾乎每一次我都會叫一碗膶牛米。一碗唔講究賣相但著重味道嘅膶牛米，平實嘅街坊美味。所以話呢， Don’t judge the book by its cover. …查看更多

一直聽講科記出名豬排靓，今日終於有機會來試一試呢間老字號茶餐廳。禮拜六早上11點左右來到嘅時候未見人龍，好好彩即刻就有位。我好鍾意餐廳門口兩塊拉廉，除左阻擋太陽之外亦顯得旗幟鮮明，大大隻字寫上餐廳嘅名物豬牌飯同牛肉麵，相當有代表性。因為未到午飯時間，所以我無點到網絡上推薦嘅金牌豬排飯，而係揀咗豬排麵。雖然係即食麵底，湯底都無咩特別，但係啲豬排嘅肉質紮實，又唔會乾柴，而且又夠肉味，的確比其他茶餐廳嘅豬排做得出色。下次再來會試下佢地嘅豬排飯睇睇會唔會更加好味。呢度雖然係間簡樸嘅茶餐廳，但員工嘅服務都好貼心。當時我係同其他兩位食客搭台嘅，服務員伯伯見我將個背囊放喺大髀度，就主動搬張凳過來俾我放個袋，十分細心。…查看更多

喺西營盤如果想食越南嘢呢度係一個唔錯嘅選擇。佢地嘅湯底夠清，味道甜，所以一般黎呢度食我都會選擇湯河，而且份量都比較足。如果想跟小食嘅話，香茅雞翼或者無骨鳳爪都係唔錯嘅選擇。堂食同外賣我都有幫襯過，食左咁耐，我認為佢地嘅食物水準都係比較穩定。…查看更多

西營盤嘅NOC coffee無論係環境，服務同食物方面都令人滿意。禮拜六11點前來到嘅時候人唔算多，可以輕鬆嘆個早餐。雖然我並唔係特別鍾意食scone，但係呢度嘅提子味scone表面香脆，口感鬆軟之餘又唔會太甜太膩，值得一試。另外呢個Avotato toast亦好有趣，係用咗poached egg, sweet potato同埋scrambled avocado組成，層級好豐富，sweet potato嘅味道濃郁，搭配小小salsa醬食又唔怕膩。…查看更多
