The dishes are small and a bit overpriced. The appetizers are tiny — half an avocado with two pieces of crab meat costs $68, and the taste is overshadowed by heavy cream/Mayo. What’s one restaurant that you could go every day and not get bored? Elementary is definitely on my list. The dishes are well balanced and have memorable touches. The matcha mochi brioche is overhyped. The crust fell off the bun completely like they never belonged together. The crust crumbles easily and is hard to eat. The matcha syrup is super heavy and oily, not too sweet though. I had one and was super full the whole afternoon because it’s soo heavy. Overall it’s fine but definitely worth waiting in line for. The other day they made people stand in line for 45min and then told them that the brioche is sold out.
