Visiting BluHouse for the first time, hard to book a table and had certain expectations, given that it’s a hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was below average and just not up to par. Overrated and service was disappointing. The pasta was tough, and the sauce wasn’t able to fully immerse into the dish.Pizza was not tasting as fresh as it could be, which is disappointing, the taste was weak and bland. Told my server that certain food item was not good and got told this is ‘our style’. Wouldn’t even ask the chef to take a second look. Just really don’t think this place is good at all. Everything was okay about this shop, service and speed is all okay. Well then, that was until I ate my pho when I saw a cooked insect inside my pho! Perhaps this begs the question on what the hygiene condition is in the kitchen! This is especially shocking when it is during COVID. Truly shocking! Complained and guess what, the staff just took it away and didn’t even bother apologizing. Disappointing! This restaurant is not a part of the Murray Group Hotel. The food is average, full of fusion-gimmicks, but the price of the food is too high. Overall, service isn't bad but the price is really not justified. If you are here to see the cotton tree, then you can skip this restaurant. …查看更多

Quality of the food is good. Love the bento set and portions are generous too. Service isn’t bad and will definitely return. The coffee was of good quality. I chose a coffee - "Dirty". Saw sign that if you like their IG page, they will give you a 40% off. So I paid HKD26 instead of HKD40 normal price for the coffee. Not sure how long will this offer last, but I think I saw it is till mid-October 2020 or something. Matcha cookie was HKD18. The aroma of the cookie was good. However, matcha taste wasn't strong and a little bit disappointed. The coffee stand/bar offers also salad takeaway, although I think it is a bit expensive. Overall, a nice coffee stand. The sandwiches were full of flavor, juicy and tender meat. The venue was quiet and a good place to just eat and chill (or work). Mainly 4 cats here, however occasionally a few cats come and go. The owner of this shop really loves cats and helps with fostering cats. This establishment is not like other cat cafes, which are simply using cats to earn money. Over at Meowcastle, I find that the staff actually care for their cats as a primary aim, with customers visiting to supplement their costs. Staff friendly and cats are active. Food wise: recommend the slow-cooked beef pasta, which is very high quality and tender. The shrimp toast is also good quality. The price is a bit higher but it is for a good cause too, charitable! Food was of high quality, loved the Lam Byrani & Chicken Tikka Masala. Portions were generous. The garlic nann and cheese nann are also good. The atmosphere was vibrant, especially they have moved from Ashley Road to Prince’s Tower on Peking Road. The prices are a bit on the high side, but given quality and service, it is not bad. My first time to visit NOC Coffee in Whampoa. Rather excited as my office tower had NOC Coffee, but no seating area. However, the quality made is really average, for some reason, it was just not as good as the one at my office tower. Further, NOC Whampoa seem to need to improve its hygiene condition of its store (stains on the coffee table and the store is rather new!) Food: Very disappointing. Having been living around the neighborhood, I would say there have been an obvious and drastic decline in the quality of the meat (whether beef, pork or chicken) and the varieties of food served have been reduced. Just POOR quality. The beef, in particular, the main selling point of the entire hot pot, was so thinly cut, yet not tender and lacked any taste of beef at all. We even ordered the Level 4 (US Wagyu Beef), and it is not good, even worse than other chain store’s entry level. Service: Crowded and long wait. Place was stuffy and air-conditioning + venting was inadequate. Servers were obviously understaffed. Waited 10 minutes for the meat to come, at one point, told the assistant manager and he said the kitchen missed the order. How possible when it is computerized. Further, had to wave and struggle to get attention of staff to take away used plates. Conclusion: Spent around HK$270 per person, and both the food and service was DISAPPOINTING. The restaurant - Nanhai One, sits at 30/F and 31/F of iSquare. A good view of the harbor can be seen, if you have a good table. The view is great, however, the food and service remains yet to be desired. The food is not high quality, too salty and not fresh. The service was disappointing, paying a premium price, yet the servers are either too short staffed or just unwilling to pay attention to you. Totally not the same as the Singaporean one. The chicken was bland, saggy and tasteless, all I tasted was the salty gravy sauce. Prices were expensive for the quality given and it was honestly just such disappointment. Not to mention that plain Hainan-taste chicken rice was $68, which is ridiculous, you could get a decent chicken and rice, from elsewhere for a better experience. Found out that all Tian Tian in HK are franchises and it’s such a shame that it only managed to carry Tian Tian’s name but failed to carry the decent quality and ingredients.
