Service standards have fallen here. At peak lunch time, there are not enough trolleys so those sitting far from the kitchen will not have any trolley come by or a poor selection by the time it does. As a result, people are getting up to where the trolleys come out of the kitchen to pickup the dim sum items, resulting in a queue and is also dangerous as the guests weave back to their tables carrying the dim sum items. I remember the days when there was a long winding queue to get a bowl of Raman on Wellington Street. As I recall, there was a limit of 300 bowls a day. Glad to share that the the quality of ramen has been maintained. There was no queue at the CWB store with a constant flow of customers. The menu is in English, Chinese and Japanese. It is easy to order with a selection of Original, Red and Black King. The ordering form is easy to understand giving you a selection of soup base, richness of flavours, cut of pork (pork belly / butt), firmness of noodles etc. I ordered the Red King. it was served in exactly the same way I remembered it when they first opened. The soup broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles (I ordered hard firmness) were chewy and perfect. I like to add seaweed and egg. The egg was cooked perfectly with a soft centred egg yolk that was creamy and rich. The staff were helpful, friendly and polite, yet efficient. This restaurant was recommended to me as I could no longer stand going to Yuck Lok. The service and staff are friendly and efficient. The roast goose is absolutely yummy and meaty. the skin is glistening and delicious. There's a long queue during peak lunch time so the first time I tried, I ordered takeaway. They served the soup separately to ensure the noodles don't get soggy. It was so good that I had to go back the next day but I made sure I got there at 11.20am for the 11.30am opening which saved time on queuing. Totally recommend you to try!…查看更多

Used to come here weekly after my massage. It has been irregular of late but I went today during off peak hours. I ordered the regular roast goose and soup noodles. Used Openrice app to order takeaway. really efficient and quick. Fish was ready on time- was hot and fresh. I ordered the haddock and the serving size was decent. the Hoki fish was on the small side. didn't have enough sauces (tartare and vinegar), so if you are the type who prefer more sauce, be sure to ask for double sauces. Our go to neighborhood spicy food. They skewer everything fresh, so you have to wait (20mins). even the cucumber salad is made fresh. different levels of spicy available to suit your taste. We were very excited to try this sourdough but it's really disappointing with a huge price tag. We got the regular sourdough loaf and tried it within an hour of purchase. The bread is very, very dense, and dry in an almost stale way: the crumb structure is dense and closed. The crust is hard and tasted actually burnt in some areas. The bread also did not have much of a tangy sour taste. We expected something amazing given the hefty price tag but we were very disappointed. haven't been here for ages but had such a taste for grumpy lady's chicken wings that we made a takeaway order. it was a quick in and out affair to pick up the takeaway order so grumpy lady had no time to be grumpy, although she did snarkily say, "your chicken is behind you!" , when I couldn't see where I was suppose to pick up the package. chicken wings highly recommended. …查看更多

ordered takeaway Beijing fried rice. first time trying it. costs $98 which is typical restaurant pricing. it was ok with dark sauce rice, peas, corn, bits of luncheon meat and I think red beans and peanuts. Nothing to shout about. I also ordered red cut chili in soya sauce as I like my food spicy. This would cost $34, which I refused when I picked up my food. I would've accepted 5 or even 10 but $34? that's one whole meal at Cafe de Coral! Had a great lunch here. Everything was excellent from the warm and soft bread, clams in white wine sauce, octopus salad, pork ears salad, Portuguese paella and sangria. We used to come here once a week, food tends to be good and very consistent. The cold noodles are chewy and the soup / gravy/ sauce provides the right salty balance for the cold (or hot) noodles. The service and staff 'used to be' very nice when the other lady was in charge (unfortunately I didn't get her name). The staff are now grumpy and generally not as nice which is a pity as it takes away from the overall experience. if you haven't been, worth a try. I may come back occasionally but too many such noodle shops have sprung up (including one right next to it) such that it's not worth the queue and certainly not worth the angst with staff. …查看更多

Very extensive menu. I would recommend to go with a big group so that you're able to order more dishes to try more things. the specialty dishes tend to be large so you need more people to eat too. Best roast goose I've had in Hong Kong. Yat Lok on Stanley street. 4 years on Michelin guide since 2015. However next time, I will not order the goose on soup, but separately, so as to preserve the crispy skin. Most delicious. I ordered the original milk tea with tapioca pearls, basic and standard order. You would expect that a bubble tea shop will be able to get this right. Sadly, this was not the case. With almost every sip, there would be a tea leave in the mix - I am still not sure if this was on purpose to have the tea leaves in the drink, but I was not expecting this and had to spit it out each time. In addition, the bubble size to straw ratio did not always work, with quite a few tapioca pearls getting stuck in the straw. went in a Sunday to buy their dumplings home (takeway) for my son, who loves them (who doesn't?). The best part of their dumplings is the soup and juices that squirts out when you take the first bite.However, the cook and support staff handled them in such a rough way that a few broke. I bought 16 and at least 3 broke and leaked in front of my eyes, and some were just lying on its side, So I told them to change the broken/leaking ones and that they should be upright. Then another staff basically came and told me to be quiet. they changed the dumplings but were so ungracious! Really left such a bad taste in my mouth.
