On 25/5/23 I went to Lung Cuisine again with my wife because the staff of this restaurant told me that they have new chef and new menu . I always like to try new things. First dish start with steam eels soup with Chinese medicine , taste delicious . Second dish is the starter with wagu beef , thousand year egg and carrot . The decorate look very nice . It make you feel that the taste is good too. Third dish is lobster. It fry with ginger and dry olive . It taste very special. The forth dish is sweet and sour. The special is the food put on the ice. Appointment with my old friend family Peter at The Lung cuisine . My friend Peter bring wine Lynch Bages 2000 . This bottle was quite forward, which surprised me. With its nose of spearmint, cedar, tobacco, cigar box, and cassis, the full-bodied, concentrated, generous wine was balanced and easy to enjoy, even with its judicious tannic backbone. The restaurant do not charge for the corkage and 10 percent charge. We start with steam tomato with garlic . This dish look simple but it taste so delicious . It is because this tomato from the farm of this restaurant owner. Next dish was fresh sea garoupa fish . The most important of the fish is the steam time , not too ripe and not too rare. Another dish was fresh noodle lobster with cheese. When they bring the dish I smell the fresh of the lobster and cheese . I feel like to taste it immediately . Actually we do not expect to have dinner at Pici. Because the restaurant we booked the wrong date . We just try other restaurant near by. It is the first time I was in this restaurant . The atmosphere and decorate look good. I asked the waiter many questions . She replied me correctly and nicely . We started to order Tuna Tartare , Burrate , Charcoal Tagliolini sea urchin, Orecgiette Nduja , paste of the day . Each dish was quite good with the money they charge. Have appointment with my daughter to have dinner at The Basin. We start at 6.30 in the evening. Not many customer that time. Staff name Louis recommend food for us . We accept and place order. The first dish come with ‘smoke sardine’ It give me surprise , the taste of the sauce quite special . The second dish’ grilled octopus ‘ gave me surprise again because the meat of the octopus so soft and the sauce is so special too. We order’ chicken supreme’’ clam pasta’ and many other dishes. After finish all the food the owner Mr Eric come and talk with us. He is Spanish buy but he look like French. He can manage the restaurant very well. Wishing the restaurant doing good business . After yoga class 60 minutes relax at coffee academics Repulse bay. Order Pain Perdu for my breakfast . This dishes mix with French tradition bread toast with grilled grapefruit. The taste favorite , one of the best toast I ever taste. Together with Americano coffee and hot milk on the side. From the window side can see Repulse Bay beach and people walk around . Why do we have to flight so far to find a beach and coffee in other country. We have all what we want in Hong Kong without running around. Can have free parking for 2 hours with 200 dollars spending.
