Overall: 🌟 🌟 🌟 It was fine. I went at lunchtime. Didn’t need to line up. I got the Beef Yakiniku Bowl and the fried chicken for carry out. *Beef Yakiniku Bowl (Middle size) with half boiled egg - it had a lot of Japanese bbq sauce on the rice. It was nice, so the rice could get some flavour. But the sauce was a bit sweet for me. For people who like strong flavours will love it. *Fried chicken - the taste was good, like normal Japanese fried chicken. Not sure if it is because I got for carry out, therefore the fried chicken was not that tender at all. Maybe dining in would be better. If there isn’t a queue, I would definitely go again and try their other food. Overall: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Environment: One of the best environments I have been in for skewer places. Most of the skewer places are not as clean. This place - the floor, table and plates are clean (when I used the alcohol wipes to clean the table, still white).Service: The service was amazing. They provide mask envelopes. They clean the dishes and skewer sticks as soon as we finished. Taste: They have a lot of skewers options and also snack food options (you can also pick between spicy level, or have different types of seasonings/ sauces on the side). Overall the food was great. All the skewers are not “dry”. Each of them are very juicy and have their own flavour vor in them. Few of our favourites were the bean curd puff, chicken cartilage, and angus beef ribs. *The bean curd puff- super crispy outside, soft and juicy inside. Delicious. *Chicken cartilage- savory flavour (maybe with soy sauce), the flavour gets into the cartilage and they grill it perfect timing. Not too dry and not too moist. *Angus beef ribs- it has a strong beef flavour, it is moist and tender inside. For the sweet part, there are different types of cakes and tarts. There were 2 roll cakes. The strawberry roll cake was with white chocolate cover, the roll cake was too sweet for me. The other green tea roll cake was a bit too dry and the cream was not fresh made. The other were fair. Not much special. The savoury was better than the sweet. The Mickey scone was nice. It was my bf’s birthday, so I requested window seats ahead. They called a day before to make confirmation and asked my bf’s name for dessert. We booked our table through openrice so we didn’t have to wait long for the table. Service: The service was great. Even though they were super busy, they still answered questions politely. Personally, I like chicken and waffle the most, since it reminds me of home and I maybe a little homesick. The chicken is really crispy, with a good size waffle. Not sweet, the perfect combination. My coworkers love the roasted pork knuckle and the Tom Yum Gong risotto. The roasted pork knuckle is super juicy. Not salty at all compared to normal traditional German dish. I think it is great with mashed potatoes together. Tom Yum Gong Risotto is a bit spicy. For people who don’t eat spicy, I would not recommend. But it is a perfect dish for a person who love spicy food. It also came with a huge prawn on top, the rice is full of Thai spice flavours. The pancakes, we ordered one original, tiramisu and also chocolate flavour. The original and tiramisu flavour had a really heavy ricotta cheese taste(not recommended if you are really full). The chocolate flavour gave us a surprise. Inside of the cake, It had the explosion/popping candy. So when we were eating it, we can feel the popping sensation. When I had my first bite of the jelly ball (the one was with kiwi inside), I can sense a strong gelatin taste. I’m not sure if it was a mistake or anything. But when I tried the second jelly ball with watermelon, I don’t taste it anymore. The clean jelly has no taste ( seems healthy ?? ), but the watermelon was really sweet (maybe that helps a little). They are always willing to answer questions and give any suggestion. Taste: Basically they have 2 different types of dessert. One is create your own dessert, and the other is ordered from the menu. Personally I have been going to this dessert place for a while. I like them both. They also provide free tea. Make your own dessert- u can pick what type of base u like, then topping and the syrup. In general, their desserts are really healthy. I can taste that it is very similar to homemade dessert. Not like other places where they put food coloring or add alot sugar. Base - they have soy bean pudding or herbal jelly ( both of them are pretty nice ).Topping- red beans, green beans, Loogan, green tea jelly, Mochi, etc...
