Such an amazing assortment for their tasting menu and worth splurging on! They have an amazing matcha lava cake for dessert which is to die for! So rich in matcha flavour with the warm gooey centre pairing so well with their ice cream and it leaves you wanting more. The sashimi assortment is lovely and I especially loved the toro! Their hamachi is also extremely fresh with a lovely yuzu dressing. They also has a tempura rice cracker which was nice and crispy and so well seasoned which was quite unique. Their fried chicken is amazingly crispy and well seasoned and pairs so well with their house made spicy mayo! The hamachi is also so fresh and pairs so well with their Yuzu dressing. Great value for money brunch place in an old industrial building! The interior is nice and cozy. I recommend the all day breakfast since their egg benny is delicious with a lovely hollandaise sauce! The egg benny was perfectly runny with a rich hollandaise sauce seasoned perfectly. The only downside was that they used plain white bread under the egg benny which became very soggy with the egg on top. If they had used a nice sourdough it would have been perfect. Their flat white is lovely but the food is just so so and quite overpriced. I tried the avocado toast but it was rather bland and the avocado was too little as it was just a very thin spread with some feta cheese and pomegranate. If the avocado spread was thicker it would have been delicious with the sweetness of the pomegranate and the saltiness of the feta. Love how every time you walk in you’re transported back to the food streets of Taiwan! Their minced pork rice and chicken egg rice is definitely worth trying! Very authentic Italian pizzas with an amazing crust and fantastic service as well. The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely. Had the parma ham pizza which was lovely and the oven roasted calamari which was so rich with olive oil and capers and juicy roasted tomatoes. I really liked their truffle portabello mushroom burger. It was juicy and went really well with the blue cheese dressing. Getting high quality yet affordable sushi can be kind of difficult in Hong Kong which is why I really like Kikusan. The Kikusan roll (8 pieces for $68) includes fatty tuna, sea urchin and salmon roe. Its very nicely presented and the sweet sea urchin goes really well with the rich fatty tuna!We also ordered the sushi platter which included tuna roll, swordfish, red tuna, yellowtail, fatty salmon and sweet shrimp. I loved the sweet shrimp most- very plump and fresh.We also had the spinach and shrimp dumplings. The shrimp was nice and crispy but it felt very similar with the traditional 蝦餃. I'm a fan of pizza and I mean who isn't but this place was quite a let down. We ordered the 2 person set which included the following:1. Baked mushrooms- The mushrooms were juicy but the dish overall was underseasoned and were not very special.2. Beetroot and baby spinach salad- Pretty good3. Chicken pizza with red onions- It tasted ok but the crust was too thick and lacked the crispiness a traditional Italian pizza ought to have. The toppings were pretty typical as well. There's a good variety of choices for their brunch menu. I usually get the fish burger for my main course which has this skillfully fried fish fillet which is so juicy and moist on the inside yet crackling and crunchy on the outside. It also goes wonderfully well with the tartar sauce and black bun. I've also tried the black truffle cream sauce with homemade tagliatelle which is absolutely delicious. The pasta is cooked just right and I love the al dente texture which goes wonderfully with the sauce and the variety of mushrooms(mostly portabello and white mushrooms which are cooked beautifully in white wine). …查看更多
