Food is overpriced. A toast with coffee cost me almost $200. There is also a problem with the tables - they are either too low or too high for eating. I literally saw other guests holding their plates up to eat a sunny-side up egg. Everyone waited at least 20 mins for their food. And the toast I had was too salty. For this price, I would expect some decent service. But no, the server just sat at the bar table playing with her phone and guests are expected to make their orders at the cashier direct. The only service was when they handed me my ordered food. Have been calling and trying to book this place for dinner many times but to no avail. No one picks up. Anyways, walked in for a table for 2 at around 8pm on a weekday and was offered a table which has not been cleaned. The waitress only cleaned it when she was asked to. Saw a live cockroach on the floor before the food arrived. One of the waiters was reluctant to even catch it, but continued socializing with other dining guests. Foodwise, we ordered a rib-eye steak, clams and cuttlefish spaghetti and fried kale. The rib-eye steak was more like medium-rare than medium.. tasted meatless, too charcoal-y and chewy. The spaghetti was too salty and watery. And for the fried kale.. as seen from the picture below it looked and tasted very burnt. Also too salty. We couldn’t finish the whole dish.
