Hairy crab season is here. 甬府 is not only famous for its 十八斬,its raw hairy crab is very good as well. Take the 膏with some rice. Other must try dishes: the fermented winter melon as appetizer- the texture is very refreshing; the taro soup (made with pig oil but worth every calorie); deep fried 九肚魚- the batter very light like tempura; 田雞 cooked with 豆;黃魚 noodles (by request) - soup is all fish broth; the 湯圓- made to order, the best I’ve tried.
