Whenever people think of Indian food in Chungking Mansion, Khyber Pass Mess Club will be one of those restaurants that come to our minds. Since it has been several years we last dined there, we decided to have dinner there tonight. Khyber Pass Mess Club was located inside Chungking Mansion, where there were alot of Indian restaurants inside. Their menu was comprehensive, offering a wide range of authentic Indian cuisine such as appetizers, curry, tandoori, rice, naan, desserts and drinks etc. Sh

Shortly after we ordered, they served us a basket of complimentary papadum. It was thin in texture and crispy, and the sauce provided was spicy.
Masala tea was smooth and milky, with strong scent of tea taste.
Samosa was fried till the skin was crispy and the potato fillings inside was chewy and soft.
Chicken full leg was grilled till flavourful, absorbing the essence of the Indian spices. It was soft and smooth as well.
Garlic naan was chewy, going well with the curry provided and has strong garlic smell.
Chicken makhani was cooked with tomato gravy, thus the curry was sweet and creamy. Chicken was soft and juicy, able to taste butter and Indian spices in it.
