Finally tried it because this is a noodle joint from Yuen Long in the New Territories so wanted to compare it with the one in Sai Kung also in the New Territories. The queues are long and it was packed with people, the floorplan is not an effective use of space but rather it causes congestion because the queue at the entrance separates the two sides of the restaurant. All I can say is portions are big and it was very spicy. They must have paid a lot to keep that huge bamboo banner up there as most

All I can say is portions are big and it was very spicy.
They must have paid a lot to keep that huge bamboo banner up there as most surrounding shops would have complained or taken legal action.
There was so much seaweed in the noodles and it was clean without any grit however the soup was extremely salty.
The blood curds were rather sweet but then that is how they are meant to taste.
The kaya toasts were really good as the bread was light and airy which went well with the sweet paste.
