I've passed this place a number of times and it has always been pretty packed for lunch. This morning I decided to give it a try. I was attracted by the fact they had cheese omelette as one of their breakfast options, so I planned to order that for my breakfast. Here's where the disappointing part comes in. Here's where the disappointing part comes in. I asked what their "dirty" latte was, the staff explained to me what it was... then told me the coffee machine had broken down, so there was no coffee available.

A coffee place, with no coffee?

At that point I was really tempted to leave, because I did want my coffee.

However, I wanted to try the cheese omelette, so I asked for rooibos tea.

The staff told me for the rooibos tea, they only had one flavour left as they had run out of stock for other rooibos teas. By this time, my mind was pretty numb.

Rooibos tea, but only one flavour left because they had no more stock? I would feel better if they just said OK and didn't tell me they only had one flavour left

My cheese omelette arrived. It looked good, but it was not anything spectacular, and it even had bits of egg shell. The tea was OK

The environment was definitely nice with the happy colours and decorations. However, the fact that two air conditioners was on full blast when I was the only customer at the time seemed a waste of energy

:There was a small fan, which was also turned on. It really wasn't necessary. Turning down the air-conditioning would have definitely made the place more quiet

There are many other better-quality coffee shops to choose from in Sheung Wan, so I would check those out in the future.
