It’s my friend’s birthday plus her farewell, so we decided to give her a remarkable night by dining at the Michelin 2-star restaurant, Tin Lung Heen! Too bad we were too late in booking so we couldn’t get the window seat, but other seats were comfy as well, just without the awesome Victoria harbour view. Barbecued Iberian pork with honey— it’s one of their signature dishes! And it’s really one of the best charsiew I had! The pork was so tender and juicy! It’s not even fatty and it’s marinated we
Barbecued Iberian pork with honey— it’s one of their signature dishes! And it’s really one of the best charsiew I had! The pork was so tender and juicy! It’s not even fatty and it’s marinated well with the honey!
Wok fried wagyu beef with XO sauce and fresh lily bulb— never had wagyu cooked in a Chinese style! It went pretty well with the XO sauce surprisingly! What a combination.
Braised pork belly with supreme sauce— don’t be scared by the fatty pork belly! It melted in your mouth without the need of chewing! The supreme sauce was balanced with the all the taste, so delicious.
Fried rice with diced abalone, goose, shrimp wrapped in lotus leaf— its a luxurious version of lotus leaf rice! Full of umami flavour.
Braised E fu noodle with seafood— E fu noodle was braised perfectly, I like it a bit harder in texture, but it’s good enough! Topped with a generous portion of scallops!
They surprised us with a complimentary basket of lotus bun and some Chinese mochi for the birthday girl!
We had a great night! Will definitely go again for the food and ambiance and the service!
