It's that awkward time after Christmas and before New Years. I'm looking for a new restaurant to check out and even though it's weekday, this restaurant is busy! I arrived just after 12 (when they open), there was only one other customer there, but the restaurant filled up very quickly and soon enough there was a short queue forming. What covid? To be honest I thought they would still be serving their breakfast menu since it's a weekday but I guess they serve their 'brunch' menu Monday to Sunday
To be honest I thought they would still be serving their breakfast menu since it's a weekday but I guess they serve their 'brunch' menu Monday to Sunday now, which is more expensive. Having planned to get breakfast food, I decided to go ahead with their 'All Day Breakfast' ($148 + 10% service charge). The meal comes with a soup (which was quite tasty) and drink. But with service charge, the meal comes to a total of $163, and I really don't think it was worth the price.
All Day Breakfasts are often overpriced; that's a given, but to me, it was TOO overpriced at this restaurant. I've had better for cheaper. I have a feeling that their linguines/pastas would be better (judging by their soup), but I really wanted some breakfast food today.
However, I did like the service here, and I really really like the decor. I was lucky to get a seat by the window and it was very nice. Overall a nice and relaxing afternoon, but the food was just OK. Probably would not return.
