Had ordered the three items from Ippudo: 1) GYOZA with truffle sauce; 2) Deep fried SQUID TENTACLES with seaweed flavor, i.e. The Kraken; 3) Deep fried HIROSHIMA OYSTERS.....Judging by what I’ve tasted, I’d certainly like to eat them again (and also try the rest of the menu), but next time it would be at the restaurant (this time it was via delivery).The GYOZA stuffing was a near perfect combination of pork and light flavors of Garlic/Cabbage/Chives and what not. The GYOZA stuffing was a near perfect combination of pork and light flavors of Garlic/Cabbage/Chives and what not. The skin was thin enough but still held firm and of course, at the bottom it was nicely crunchy and brown.
Are 6 mid/small size gyozas for $58 considered a BIT PRICEY ? ...... I’m still undecided on it because the TASTE is definitely worth it!

NEXT, we come to THE KRAKEN....i.e. the DEEP FRIED SQUID TENTACLES.
The squid has a thin layer of batter which is PERFECT for me (because sometimes the batter can be so thick that I can barely taste the squid inside)....So this one at Ippudo was a lot closer to my liking .

Lastly, the DEEP FRIED HIROSHIMA OYSTERS-
Another good one because they ensured the oyster inside is still soft and NOT rubbery.... while making the crunchy crust.something about eating them made me wanna eat another serving of them (even though I was already full). Definitely a candidate for re-order when I visit the place.
