If you like to eat meat -- all kinds of meat -- particularly meat that is grilled and well-cooked, delicious and in ample amounts, then Braza is the place to be. As Hong Kong's first churrascaria, we had few expectations during opening week as restaurants tend to need a few weeks or months to work out all the kinks, yet were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere (casual and comfortable), the service (friendly and proactive) and the food (ample and delicious). See photos below -- we sampled almost every type of meat on offer (different cuts of beef and lamb, pork ribs, turkey wrapped in bacon, shrimp, chorizo sausages, chicken wings, chicken thigh, and more). Everything was delicious -- just the right amount of sear and fat, despite us having different preferences, because diners can ask the server to cut exactly the piece you want. The chicken and pork ribs had a great sauce and flavour to them, but were a bit under-done, but they promised this would be fixed shortly. Everything else was perfect.
Caipirinha can be ordered table-side and the fruit customized to your liking -- I picked strawberries and lychee and would definitely order it again. The dessert, even at the end of a very very filling meal, was also delicious, thoughtfully created and well-presented, particularly the banana-chocolate dish.
Overall, this place is great! I will definitely return soon. It's also good value for great cuts of meat and seafood. My main warning is: expect to eat way too much.
