I have been wanting to check out Sunday's Grocery since my sister told me about it! This afternoon, I picked up a sandwich before heading to work. While waiting for my sandwich, I was told that Sunday's grocery is Yardbird's third project after Ronin. Also, whisky is their thing if you care for alcohol. I love the set up and tones of colours of this place. There is a selection of alcohol on the right, and some other goods on the left beside the huge menu, which I totally missed and foolishly asked if they had a menu. Opps.. Ha.
Service:The staff were friendly, and I was handed this pamphlet while wondering where the menu was.
Taste & Value:I decided on the Chicken Schnitzel sandwich ($80). This sandwich had pickles and veggies in it. The ingredients were very fresh, and I loved how the bread was so warm and soft. The pickles made the sandwich interesting, but a little salty. The chicken was juicy and not greasy at all. I don't want to say this, but the first bite reminded me of McDonald's Chicken Burger! Of course, this was made with better ingredients and was 10 times more fresh and tastier.
Final Verdict:The sandwich was good, but quite expensive? I would go again though, I want to try their other sandwiches. The little knick knacks they have are so cute.
