The Buy 1 Get 1 Free Ice Cream for White Valentine's Day Special is Belgium Chocolate and Strawberry. I have tried the Hokkaido Milk 5.0 and Hojicha ice cream from Mel Pot around two weeks ago, and these two flavors were amazing. They were extremely rich in flavor and creamy, instead of icy texture, so I had really high hopes for the ice cream from this shop.
However, this week, there were only belgium chocolate and strawberry flavor to choose from, so we chose that and were quite disappointed.
This time, the ice cream texture was on the icy side, it was not creamy and smooth. The belgium chocolate was okay, but the strawberry ice cream was even more on the icy side. Although the belgium chocolate was rich in flavor, we most expected to taste the creamy texture of the ice cream, yet could not taste it at all.
I recommend the Hokkaido Milk 5.0 and Hojicha if they sell these flavors again, because they were really some of the best ice cream I have had, but don't try the belgium chocolate and strawberry.
