I am always a big fan of Japanese Hamburg steak! When my friend told me there's a new Japanese Hamburg specialist open in causeway bay, I wanted to go straight away. So finally the day had come and we went in with no hesitation. The place is nicely decorated and family friendly. I was amazed by the salad bar. It was mouthwatering! Let's talk about the steak first, I ordered the onsen egg Hamburg steak with tartar sauce at standard size which was 180g, this size was more than enough for girl. The Hamburg was still sizzling when it arrive, the Hamburg was juicy and seasoned perfectly. After cutting it in half, the egg ran down onto the sizzling plate and turn it into half cook. The egg was runny and the Hamburg tasted so good with the egg yolk.
My friend got the Italian style Hamburg steak which had a piece of cheese and mixed veggies on top of the Hamburg. Again, the Hamburg was juicy and meaty. Actually I like this one more as the Hamburg tasted so much better with the cheese and this special sauce.
Since we added the side buffet, we can order unlimited Japanese rice and bread. We wanted to try the bread and it was a very wise choice as these bread tasted so different. They were so soft and filling! It was smooth and eggy. I really like the bread and their special made butter.
At the salad bar, there was quite a wide range of salad to choose from and everything was labelled and separated nicely. There were some cold pasta dishes such as angle hair with garlic, tuna macaroni and mashed potatoes with egg. The dessert bar was full of cheese cake, pudding and fruit. But the most exciting part was the ice cream fridge, it had mango and cookie and cream ice cream.
I really like the corn soup from the soup bar, it was creamy and smooth.
