Summary: Great price and selection of meat for bbq and side dishes. DO NOT expect great quality meat though, not at this price. The Goods: This is by far the cheapest BBQ buffet although some may argue that with a bit more you can have better quality. Great selection of food. Drinks and beer (Tsing Tao) also included. The Bads: Meat quality, and they mask it by strong marinade.  A bit off the point, but the shop is way too cold. Damage: We came for lunch buffet during weekdays and that's HKD138 +

Damage: We came for lunch buffet during weekdays and that's HKD138 + 10% SC, so HKD152 per person for 2 hours. I believe weekend lunch is something like HKD148 + 10%., but not completely sure

First thing first, if you're looking for quality meat, look elsewhere; this is not for you. However, if you want BBQ and price is a major point in your consideration, read along.

I come here maybe once in a while when I really want BBQ but don't want to pay expensive price for the meat (some restaurant, a plate of beef is equivalent to this price per person already). To be clear, I come only when I want to eat a lot of BBQ, and really just to clear off my appetite for the cuisine. I personally think overall the marinade is TOO strong, but it's perhaps to cover up the short coming of meat quality. It's heavy in sweet and perhaps uses a lot of MSG. On the MSG point, I can't really 'taste' it (I never do) but eating a lot of this stuff resulted in sensitive tongue for me - it's the same thing for salt but it doesn't taste very salty so I'm betting on MSG.  But beside that, I think it has very good selection of food, and if you want to drink with friends, it also include Tsing Tao beer (think they used to have Hite too).

It's self serviced all-you-can-eat buffet and so everything is included. There is only single price for given time (lunch or dinner - mine is weekday lunch at HKD138 + 10%) for 2 hours.

So, let's go into each sections;

Meat Counter
Let's start with the main thing - the meat. They have quite a variety of meat from Chicken, Pork, Beef, Mutton, and Squid. Most of the items are pre-marinated except perhaps the Marble Beef, and Pork Belly. I'm not going into all the dishes but will give a broad idea and some recommendations. As said, most are pre-marinated and they're quite strong in my view - some are better than the others (see below recommended). The vegetables are generally standard so all are good, except the shiitake mushroom; I think it's either pre-marinated or canned.
I would personally recommend; Marble beef and pork belly as they're the only few that's not marinated but they're also quite dry. Beef Steak. Beef (just beef per their menu - this is similar to bulgogi). Mutton. All vegetables are good.
I would personally avoid; All squid (don't think it's fresh), spicy pork (don't like marinade). Fish (mushy kind). Chicken wings (hard to cook properly).

Below are photos of all meat and their corresponding names.

Cooked Food Counter
They have quite a variety - the photo doesn't show these dishes; fried rice, steamed broccoli, and grilled fish (think mackerel). They're okay enough for buffet (food made in large quantity and sitting for a long time).
I would personally recommend; Fried rice (it's not bad really), the egg fish (smelt fish?). Jap Chae is not bad
Other ones I think are just preference - I don't like very carb heavy and chewy stuffs.

Sushi Counter
Well, they only have maki for lunch service, but I believe they have Salmon sashimi for dinner. I don't know if I want to have raw salmon at this price though, it's your choice. For Maki, I don't particularly like them, the rice is too bland (not enough vinegar) and it's really just filler. So, not a fan.

Soup Counter
There are 5 types of soups; shredded chicken with mushroom, ginseng with chicken, "traditional" soup (don't know what that traditional mean), pork knuckle and ginger, and spicy seafood. The first 3 I don't really like as they're pretty bland. The last 2 is alright. Pork knuckle soup is actually Chinese but the pork is well braised, but I think they should have put in more ginger. I'm not sure which cuisine the spicy soup should belong to; maybe Korean but it's not truely authentic? But in any case it's not bad, quite spicy though so beware.

Ban Chan Counter
They have standard small side dishes in Korean cuisine. I think all is not bad except cucumber is a bit too sweet (but still good).  Normal Kimchi, Cucumber and Spinach are my best pick but the rest is also not bad. They also have some fresh lettuce (for you to eat with the meat) and soybean paste sauce (Korean style), and some extra salad stuffs (sorry not showing in photo and I also didn't bother to eat).

Dessert Counter
They have fruits (depends on the day but most of the time it's pineapple and orange), milk pudding, jello, and marshmallow with chocolate sauce. Of all these, I like pudding the best. There are also soft tofu  (豆腐花), and black jelly as dessert but I didn't take photo.

Drink Counter
Drinks are included in the price, and it's also unlimited. They have quite a variety but most of them are quite sugary so I didn't have any. At each table they also have standard hot tea so I had that instead because I don't want to pile myself up with more sugar when I'm already eating a lot of calories. To note, they also have beer so you can come to have quick drinks with friends too.

That's a lot of things to cover but I hope you have the idea of what to expect. Again, I think for the price it's not bad but some may argue that you can pay a bit more (maybe HKD60 per person more), You'll get BBQ with better meat quality. I'm generally aligned with that too but at 200+ per person, that's stepping into territory that I'm unsure of - then should I just go have a-la-cart BBQ meat just enough to satisfy myself (i.e. healthier portion) and don't have to eat a lot. Well, price is one of my main consideration, so this is still one of my pick. You can decide for yourself.
