I got two cakes from Lafayat to celebrate Father's Day with my dad. The chocolate sponge cake has four layers it's very moist, soft with load of favour. The sponge cake is perfect. The chocolate cream is made of 70%cocoa. The icing of the cake taste like you’re eating a bar of bitter chocolate. It's rather thick. Btw all the chocolate shell/ cream/ icing taste the same as my mom had bought me another piece of round chocolate cake before.
Mille Feuilles has a layer of burn sugar on top of every crust. This helps to keep the crust crispy but it adds a slight burning taste to it. The egg Custer is very smooth adding some vanilla seeds to it might make it better.
Overall the two cakes taste great will go back for more chocolate sponge cake. Mission completed see ya.
