Authentic soup base, a bit pricey

My friend & I would like to grab a quick bite before heading for a drink in Central. She brought me to this small Pho restaurant located on a non-so-eye-catching street. It's only 1/3 full on a rainy Thu night before Good Friday.  Out of the limited choices of noodle & snacks, we picked 1) all beef Vietnamese vermicelli 2) Everything (beef brisket/raw beef/Vietnamese pork sausage...) zucchini noodle soup 3) Vietnamese spring rolls. The pho really surprised me, the portion is decent & the soup base is really authentic. It's been a long while I haven't tasted an authentic bowl of pho, soothing! My friend's zucchini noodle was delicious as well, however, it's not filling at all so she ended up adding another portion of the Vietnamese vermicelli at a cost of $15 (not bad eh?)

 I debated whether going for the spicy fried chicken or spring rolls and there's cheese Fries option that really caught my attention. In order to explore more on their Vietnamese element, we stayed with the spring rolls. I won't say it's authentic enough yet they were crispy & juicy...a modified fusion dish.

 I'd say it's no harm to try something new except that all the snack options here are deep fried, so eat at your own risk. Overall dining experience here was a nice one. Good job!
