I had lunch with my dear and colleague in this restaurant, 2-3 weeks ago. Well, it was not easy to go, there's no 10/F in the lift, and when you arrivde the 9th floor, you had to figure out yourself to go upstairs ... anyways, it was a full house when i am in. First came the carrot soup, it was a thick and nice soup. While my dear had the tuna salad, it was a thick tuna! In addition with the crispy bread, it was completely a good start.
And ... we waited and waited ... finally, the main dish came. The foie gras pasta was a big dish. The foie gras was ok, the pasta was creamy and thick penne. It was nice when it was served really hot I supposed. As we prob believed that they want to serve all of us at the same time, so the pasta has to wait for the ox tail. Yes, we had cold pasta dish, while my dear had a wonderfully made ox tail. Really good as the ox tail meat just came out automatically and really hot. The red wine sauce was a nice match.
After that, we did order dessert - chocolate mousse cake and creme brulee. The chocolate mousse cake was exceptionally nice as it was not that heavy and the chocolate was just the right sweetness *if you are coffee lover as me, I think you like it too*. While the cream brulee was overestimated, it was not that hot and the texture was not too tempting.
For sure, the whole meal ended with a nice cup of really hot coffee. And friendly staff provided a brown bag of oatmeal muffin as tea.
Hope to go again as the place was really nice with a little view, in particular down the street was the extremely crowded Queen's Road Central.
