I totally have to disagree with all the good ratings people gave them. They don't deserve it. I'm usually not the type to post comments and bad mouth restaurants ....but this time is an exception. Went with my family to Sai Kung for dinner and we basically went for the atmosphere. Couple of employees from this restaurant lured my dad over claiming their low price but good quality food ie. 我地D賴尿蝦同蟶子都大個人㗎! Which was partly true, the shell was big with like 5 small pieces of 蟶子. Anyhow, in the end when the bill came, I just had to comment on how small the portion was and the waitress mentioned there was supposed to be 4 蟶子 ( only 2 on our plate) Because we made such a commotion, the owner lady came but she just said how come we didn't raise out in the first place? How were we supposed to know? Sigh, we're just never going to go back to this place again....when they give you a good price on food, take note to take a deep discount on their quality. Estimated the cost of seafood to be $200 but they charge us $600 for the package...they have good profit margin la....
We ordered:
椒鹽賴尿蝦: pretty tasty
豉椒炒蟶子: portion was way smaller than we anticipated
清蒸魚: not much different than eating at home
白灼生蝦: no taste at all (even after dipping it in soyasauce)
薑蔥炒蟹: the crab is not fresh, the meat does not have good texture
Next time, definitely will go to a restaurant with more people seated in there, more guarantee on a good experience. This restaurant was less than 50% seated at peak hours, sat night between 7-9pm. Such a bad experience, it even took away the atmosphere of seafood in Sai Kung!
