早兩日去西營盤辦年貨出得省城當然要食吓嘢本來想去另一間餐廳,不過遇上學校 lunch time,好多人,所以另覓餐廳經過 Flying Pig Bistro唔使等位叫咗兩個 set lunch一個牛扒,medium well整體幾好食,又淋不過個 sauce就麻麻地薯條剛炸起,超脆係底嗰啲因為啲肉汁而變得 soggy 另一個係慢煮牛臉頰好淋好夠味薯蓉吸晒啲醬汁如果跟餐包嘢飲就好#pandafoodhk #pandaskitchen #saiyingpun #saiyingpunfood #flyingpigbistro #西營盤 #西營盤美食 繼續閱讀

禮拜六朝頭早去咗同朋友聚會揀咗西營盤,因為朋友住附近,離地鐵站都唔算太遠,附近都有幾多嘢食。坐位方面都幾舒服,我諗大概六七成滿。因為有啲肚餓,所以叫咗個小豬早餐Piggy Breakfast。值得留意嘅係佢係牛扒而唔係豬扒,牛扒係around rare,如果唔想食太生,可能要早啲同侍應講。其他嘢食都唔錯,有蛋煙肉茄汁豆腸仔都夠飽,今次冇飲嘢,下次可能會試吓。我見都有其他比較冇咁Heavy嘅選擇,女士可能可以揀嗰啲。 繼續閱讀

So after posting some very harsh reviews of the Flying Pig Bistro and vowing never to return, the owner reached out and convinced me to give the place another try.  I asked a friend to join me for lunch as my wife did not want to go back.  My friend and I started with some potato and cheese pierogies which were surprisingly very good as well as wild mushroom and sauerkraut pierogies which were excellent.  These came with sides which included crispy bacon and sauteed onions which added a nice texture to the dishes.  For mains, my friend had the honey-glazed salmon which was a little dry but not bad and I had the pan-seared sea bass which was quite good.  I enjoyed the combination of the sea bass and its skin with the mashed potatoes and green beans.  I will try to convince my wife to go back so that I can try more items from the Polish section of the menu. 繼續閱讀

我單點了三道菜時,侍應便知道我的目標是波蘭菜,然後聰明地給了一份五月波蘭菜的餐單。當下,心中暗喜自己來得合時。左上:炒椰菜Zasmazana - 為了盡嚐波蘭菜,額外多點了這道side dish。這道菜只是普通的炒椰菜,不過是加上香菜而已。右上:炒椰菜、香腸及煙肉 - 十分油膩。這道跟Zasmazaba的分別就是加了香口的香腸及煙肉。吃過兩道椰菜的頭盤後,然後飽得吃不下主菜。左下:Golabki 肉碎肉椰菜卷 - 椰菜卷一切開,椰菜便會散開,根本不能包著飯吃,哈哈!內裏碎肉飯就如荷菜飯般,透著香料的香味,當然沒有荷葉飯那麼香!望著這道菜時,我真的想找朋友來,與我分享,因為我真的吃不下。最後,只可放棄薯蓉(Small potato is expendable😥)右下:波蘭捲餅 - 內裏是鹹鹹的芝士,真的好膩,尤其是我已經好飽。為了解膩,我每一塊捲餅都會伴著水果來吃。 繼續閱讀
