Casa Lisboa Casa Lisboa used to be one of our go-to lunch spots back when office was still in Central. So I was very glad when P suggested celebrating my birthday there. A first for me after its relocation from LKF Tower. It now occupies a more airy space, which I like better than their old location. It was full house the night of our visit. We ordered some all-time favourites such as Codfish Cakes (made with bacalhau), Garlic Octopus, Red Prawn Tartare (with Gaspacho Alentejano, cucumber, green apple and melon cucumber, green apple and melon) and Duck Rice Lisboa style with chorizo and slow cooked pork belly. My personal favourites were the codfish cakes and the garlic octopus. Bread crumb outside the codfish cakes were light, and the bacalhau and mash stuffing was fluffy. Garlic octopus served sizzling hot and it has the right amount of chewiness. The duck rice was aromatic, with plenty of duck meat shreds to go with the rice. Overall, a delightful and very high CP meal.

A gang of 12 made reservation of the restaurant. Without any disappointments, the foods ordered were scrumptious. Of all the dishes we picked, only seafood cataplana was a bit salty, others such as quails, clams bulhao pato, garlic octopus, suckling pigs and duck rice, all can keep the previous standards. Without hesitation, the services were well served. Abdo, the manager, was very considerate and professional. He recommended us to eat more varieties rather than with heavy volume. At the end, we ordered the fabulous serradura and mango burrata cheesecake to content our taste buds for desserts. Last but not least, glasses of port wine were served, we all had a wonderful night.
