The restaurant with a snobby, cool casual atmosphere and a modern Japanese image, tailored to the tastes of foreign expats and HK's bourgeoise wives. This is not an authentic Japanese restaurant, so it is safer to order Western dishes such as grills and steaks etc. than Japanese-style dishes. The food itself is the same as you would find anywhere else, but not outstanding. Prices are generally high due to the location, but it is not bad for lunch on the company's expense.

Zuma. I just can’t get rid of their lovely terrace. Cut into the chase! Food is standard. Nothing special and wow! But for $998 +10% you can enjoy an all you can eat free flow boozy brunch in their lovely terrace? I guess that’s the reason I keep coming back. Cheers to weekend! Some starters to share. Beef tataki, salmon, and deep fried tofu is pretty good! Dumplings and tempura is pretty standard. But the one surprised me was the mushroom croquettes! Creamy and gooey inside! Love it! Not sure how many rounds I had ordered that! Chicken wing is nice as well! Well seasoned and skin is super crispy! Sushi platter before the main course is served. Flounder sushi is pretty good! Scallop and hamachi is the best on the plate. Oysters are still the same, too “skinny”. For main course, I normally choose Black cod, steak or chicken fillet. Another thumb up is the quality of staffs did improve a lot compare to few years ago! Another reason Zuma is a good spot for boozy brunch!

Throwback to my intern days in Landmark - I have literally spent my entire summer in Edinburgh Tower so I had the opportunity to try out different restos both in and outside Landmark😋 Zuma serves similar items as other izakaya, but with a modern twist. I especially like the interior and the spiral staircase brings customers to the lounge & bar. We ordered lunch sets ($480 p.p.) Each lunch set comes with a miso soup, two starters and a mains. My friend and I both ordered the salmon as mains and we shared the starters.-🌟-▪️spicy wagyu tartare with quail egg and potato chips▪️spicy salmon maki, takuan and chili miso (g)▪️ chef's selection sashimi▪️ salmon teriyaki fillet with pickled cucumber▪️ Special chocolate, caramel and hazelnut praline with tahitian vanilla ice cream ($138)▪️Green tea and banana cake with coconut ice cream and peanut toffee sauce ($112)-🌟-Overall we think the food is just average - given the price this place may not be a go-to for me (honestly you can get food of similar quality with a much cheaper price outside). Worth mentioning that the desserts are quite nice. The chocolate molten lava cake is so rich and the outside is fudgy with perfectly melted chocolate inside, which goes well with the vanilla ice cream. The banana cake is a bit too sweet for us (even we both get massive sweet tooth🤣) -would be better if the toffee sauce can be served separately instead of having the cake swimming in the sauce.

2/5Really not a fan of their food here. I have many better choice if I pay for this price. Don’t get me wrong, the snacks was all fine, easy and very hard to mess up.Sashimi and salmon roe, average quality, sauce is always similar here, ponzu soy. Fried squid not bad, could be crispier to my taste. Is more like fluffy one here. Flavour just like the one we have at little Japanese shop.Chicken tender, sauce just like the one we always taste.
