Didn’t knew it was awarded one star Michelin few years ago until I walked in greeted by a not smiling cool staff. I feel like a student who did sth wrong n waiting to be punished by the teacher. And yet still not smiling after seated.Warm bread, little soft chewy texture, bitty sour at the end. Serve with light saltiness silk smooth butter.My appetiser taste very good. Everything is well balanced. I like how they marinated the mushrooms, give it a really nice flavour. For the main, French yellow chicken. Crispy skin I like, the meat is a bit dry and rough, could only taste the citrus flavour. Potatoes and beans are just okay too.Green pea risotto with scallops which my friend ordered. The risotto is better, creamy but not too milky/ heavy cream, could still taste the flavour of sweet green pea. The scallops are fresh but maybe a little over cook.Three selection of cheese which I enjoyed all of it.Not a fan of deserts, but I did make a wow sound the first bite I have this eclair. The caramel crunch and hazelnut with the light cream, WOW.Apart from the not smiling servers(all of them I mean), services are okay. Food is good with reasonable prices and generous portions. 繼續閱讀

I went to this Michelin recommended restaurant because of eatigo 50% off discount which is quite a bargain. I had reservation about this restaurant before I visited in view of the online reviews but turns out I enjoyed my time there a lot!The restaurant is located up on the slope so it could be quite a challenge especially it was raining day when I went. The restaurant had a high ceilinggiving a very comfortable ambience.  We were served by professional waitress and she patiently explained the menu to us. We had Poached Eggs as our starter, then Miso Cod and Lobsters Linguini as our main courses. All of them were impressive. As a side note, these are all just half portions because the waitress was very nice enough to offer us to help divide the dishes to share!The best bit of the dinner, however, was the dessert. We ordered crème brulee and chocolate cake. The crème brulee came with three different flavours being the normal, pistachio and orange plus sorbet. I never thought pistachio and orange could complement so well with crème brulee. The chocolate cake tasted with strong chocolate but not too sweet or bitter. I will come again soon even if I have to pay the full price!   繼續閱讀

I had the chicken with French fries which was just okay (though the portion was on the small side). There really wasn’t a very memorable falvour of the fries , the were just bland. Likewise the chicken was reasonably good but nothing special - just a standard chicken great with mediocre flavouring. So whilst the food was not bad the restaurant is extremely pricey so the food really ought to be more than just okay. The wine was decent enough but once again on the expensive side (I recall it was about 500 for a bottle). In my opinion, there are definitely many better options to eat in the nearby area for less expense (eg Duocentro Otto). I certainly wouldn’t go back again. 繼續閱讀

no booking, no waiting time,spacious layout of tables, half openkitchen as liked a stage and waitresses are efficient services.sparkling water to start with..the weekend brunch,oyster, sat on sea salts, fresh and the feel of sea breeze.foie gras, presentation of a creme brûlée liked which are goose or duck liver pressed, along with crispy thin tiny toasts.scallop, fine sliced and well seasoned & lays on a piece of water lettuce.scrambled egg, with lobster pieces & mousses sucha nice combination.daily soup, sense of tomatoes blended bit of cream in cold served, in a little chinese tea cup.parma ham, lead & thinly sliced.for the main;spaghetti, roll of sliced eggplants; zucchinis with red sauce and shredded cheese topped.halibut, lightly pan fried, smoothness & the creamy texture of fish, pickles topped, side with diced herbal potatoes.brunch white, have a mouthful right after each bites and moreover with; brunch champagne, so refreshing.afterall, desserts are wonderful with coffee pls~ everything just brilliant. 繼續閱讀

曾榮獲2015年米芝蓮一星餐廳嘅 Upper Modern Bistro 位於一條斜路上 所以環境會比較清靜 適合我呢啲想喺weekend 搵個靜啲嘅地方食飯嘅人 呢餐法國菜我哋食咗👇🏻⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀▫️Chestnut soup (HKD148)▫️Flap wagyu beef (HKD388)▫️Prime beef burger (HKD188)▫️La noisette - parliné butter cream, baileys, hazelnut ice cream (HKD128)▫️Lime panna cotta (HKD98)呢餐飯整體上係OK嘅~普普通通冇乜特別 如果你問我會唔會再去呢 咁就未必喇 繼續閱讀
