有個男性朋友生日,佢竟然毒到揀喺萬聖節嘅一晚嚟話要食生日飯,本死無大害,橫掂我都收咗山多年,今次一於就盡地一舖去就去啦連餐廳都係佢自己挑選,仲訂埋枱,都要讚吓你夠紳士風度嘅~^^~大家齊齊準時收工,先喺中環會合,跟住就一齊沿住長長嘅扶手電梯一路爬上嚟,兜兜轉轉咁搵咗一陣,左問右問先至嚟到呢條唔容易搵嘅卑利街,餐廳嘅門面仲要極為普通亦冇大招牌,少啲眼力都爭啲搵佢唔到"Uma Nota"。好彩時間還早,人仲未多~開門入去,響亮嘅巴西風格音樂隨即入耳,酒吧味道甚濃,令人大為放鬆,職員全為外國人士,而我倆就揀咗一個坐高櫈嘅位置,感覺比起坐普通餐枱更chill,仲可以靠近一啲把酒談歡。餐牌造型特別,屬旋轉隠藏扇形,每張扭開都皆有驚喜,食物同酒品都有四張分類,本身略為有選擇困難症嘅我,對住個餐牌有少少不知所措職員好細心咁詳盡解釋佢哋嘅菜單有咩好推介,包括食材同埋烹調方法,雖然全程用英語溝通可能會有啲唔慣,不過咁樣仲好feel呀,再加上呢間餐廳八成以上嘅客人都係外國朋友,真係好似暫時置身於外國之中。經過同「毒男」一輪相議之後,我哋兩個人嗌咗五款食物然後一人一杯cocktails~巴西溝日本原來係咁有驚喜的Dadinhos de tapioca($70蚊),最初大家都唔係好知道呢款係乜東東,見佢寫住cheese dices with sweet chili sauce,仲以為係啲芝士拼盤嚟,之所以話知識貧乏真係幾大件事人哋個全名其實係Brazilian tapioca and cheese dices with sweet chili sauce,"tapioca"一字其實係解作木薯澱粉,類似我哋薯仔一般嘅澱粉質食物,製作方法溝上芝士然後再被切成正方粒狀嘅形態,眼見粒粒飯咁嘅物體入口質感有趣,本身已經好似用低溫處理油炸咁炸至表面香脆可口,而另外仲配有一小碟甜辣醬沾點,味道更香更過癮。份量大約已經有十粒,因為係澱粉質嘅原故所以其實都令人頗有飽腹感Avocado salad($90蚊),呢個牛油果沙律係我身旁位男士指定要叫嘅,皆因佢話好鍾意食牛油果,一向健康主義嘅我當然唔會抗拒啦。呢碟沙律食材豐富,除咗大量主角牛油果之外,仲有蕃茄仔,洋蔥,粟米仔同埋有機火箭菜,蕃茄仔同埋粟米仔都經過烤焗處理,帶點焦香,仲有微辣帶點甜嘅醬汁做dressing,夠哂開胃。Banana doce($80蚊),有理冇理,見到香蕉,唔理係乜都照叫~因為就咁睇餐牌,寫住Fried banana with crab meat and sour cream,個個字都識解,但係mix埋一齊真係未試過,炸香蕉+蟹肉+酸忌廉?!咁樣嘅配搭真係第一次見識同品嚐。食物嚟到之後仲要仍然心存懷疑佢有冇送錯嚟皆因佢嘅外貌好似同香蕉扯唔上關係...原來巴西嘅香蕉係屬於肥粗身型(?!)哈哈~佢就好似一隻大啡菇咁做根底,上面配有酸忌廉醬再加上經過調味嘅蟹肉,一個想像唔到嘅配搭竟然係咁好味同特別 蟹肉醃製後仍然保持鮮味,淡淡蟹香由口中滲出,咸咸嘅味道加上酸忌廉再同甜甜嘅香蕉溝埋一齊原來係一種絕配我同個friend都齊齊嘖嘖稱奇。Octopus($105蚊),顧名思義,簡單一詞已經足以明白佢係八爪魚。餐牌描述佢就係with fresh herb oil,tomato and balsamic vinegar,本身就諗住佢就係平平無奇嘅八爪魚串燒,見朋友話想叫,一心都只係諗住冇所謂啦驚唔夠飽,咁叫多款小食試吓。嚟到嘅時候一人一串,八爪魚何其肥美,咬落去仲要軟腍無比,一啲都唔似係平常經常食到嘅爽口質感。朋友話只係新鮮八爪魚先至會有咁腍嘅程度,再加上我食到啖啖好似茶葉咁嘅香氣,醬汁係用意大利黑醋調製而成嘅調味品,由煮沸的白葡萄汁經長時間的收汁過程釀成,味道十分特別,我倆極為讚嘆Fraldinha($350蚊),呢份主食係由職員推薦嘅,餐牌上面描述Grillded flank steak(300g)with farofa and feijao salad,牛扒為側腹嘅位置,啖啖肉而絕冇肥膏,對我嚟講眼看已經係滿分,因為我唔一向唔喜歡食脂肪嘅部份,睇到呢份扒已經流哂口水,仲要本身已經逐片切開,對於懶惰嘅客人真係將我哋照顧到無微不至。我哋要求嘅牛扒medium rare程度剛好令人滿意,入口充滿牛香,肉質亦同眼見嘅粉紅狀態一樣鮮嫰,一舊又一舊接下去食都唔會覺得肥膩。配以菜豆嘅沙律做襯托之下,出其制勝咁達至色、香、味俱全嘅效果而呢份主菜嘅沙律用嘅蔬菜同我哋先前叫嗰份牛油果沙律完全唔同,連醬汁都一樣係兩隻唔同嘅口味,呢一款好明顯食到係橄欖油嘅味道,我朋友成碟掃光光~至於酒水方面,我朋友貪得意叫咗呢款Cawasabi($95蚊),佢聽職員形容為wasabi味道嘅cocktail之後已經大感興趣。實為巴西style,佢叫我飲佢一啖試吓,wasabi味道唔攻鼻唔辣不過都好出㗎,所以應該唔係人人受得了,鍾意wasabi味嘅朋友一試無妨而我呢杯酒,係日式風味嘅Val Verde($105蚊),餐牌描述佢裡面有Pandan infused cachaca,green chartreuse,pandan syrup,lime juice同yoghurt混合而成嘅cocktail,卡沙夏(Cachaça)係以甘蔗汁發酵、蒸餾,再置於木桶內熟成嘅巴西出產甘蔗酒,所以甘蔗味十分香醇。再加上青檸汁同埋乳酪之後女士飲就極易入口,我都俾我朋友試咗啖,佢仲話飲完之後覺得after taste有種米酒嘅餘香添同佢日式杯裝嘅外表極度相襯。對比起一啲名牌效應嘅高級餐廳又或者廣告吹捧嘅打咭必到食肆,我相信大家嚟呢度幫襯一定會有所驚喜 繼續閱讀

Uma Nota is a dependable restaurant for a good meal. But it’s not without its flaws. I like the staff: always friendly, always obliging. I like the food: flavourful (but not overly salty which is unfortunately quite often the case nowadays), fresh and interesting in a good way. What I don’t like is the noise level, I could barely hear my friend who was sitting next to me. I feel that knowledge of sign language would be handy in this place. Oh well, it’s a popular restaurant where people generally have a good time, so that’s what comes with it.Despite the noise, I will be back 繼續閱讀

uma nota a brazilian - japanese fusion restaurant. sounds pretty interesting huh?well. to begin our night ofcourse we need alcohol. we went for their japanese styled cocktails (rozu & menina geisha)dont forget to scan their QR code to join their benefit card to receive a free drink off anything on their menu. (except whiskey). We never say no to cheese. So for our starters we ordered their brazillian tapioca & cheese dices. and not sure if we were just super hungry but we loved it. It wasn't too filling, just the perfect size. Uma Nota is famous for their skewers and yes we are not joking. It was so good!! I would say my favorite dishes of the night. We ordered the chicken and octopus skewers. both just as good. but personally think its a bit pricey. ($90 for 2)One thing we saw on the menu that took us by surprise was the banana doce (fried banana with crab meat & sour cream), banana and crabmeat?! who would have ever thought of thiscombination. but i liked it. the banana goes super well with the crab meat. and there was a decent amount of crab meat too.Finally. for our main course, we ordered caldeirada de frutos do mar (a seafood stew with coco milk & coco rice) and fraldinha (grilled steak). personally think the fraldinha was much better than the seafood stew. there was a lack of coconut taste in the stew and the rice. but surprisingly we found bananas in the stew hahha. the fraldinha was pretty tastey but not my favorite. atmosphere and everything was pretty nice but overall i think it's a little over priced.  繼續閱讀

Heard so many good reviews from this restaurant, so finally decided to try it out. We ordered a few small dishes, only the steak can probably fill up a guy lol. However they all taste great, especially the octopus. I am never an octopus person, but this one is so soft. The fried balls are my second favorite, and the sauce is just so on point. We joined their club, and each of us redeemed a free drink!! Yahh! The only thing they don't have is desserts. The condense milky balls are very tasty, but not enough to satisfy my sweet tooth lol 繼續閱讀

This Brazilian place is refreshing, good vibe, possiblity of dinnerat a table or at the bar for a tapas mood. The caipirinhas are high quality, the food is excellent , price is decent given the quality and location. Service was great as well. Highly enjoyable experience. 繼續閱讀
